Greenville GOP Elects Committee Members

The Greenville County Republican Party executive committee elected members of three committees at its quarterly meeting Aug. 6 at the J. Verne Smith Auditorium on the campus of Greenville Technical College. The executive committee, composed of executive committeemen from the different precincts, elected Bob Dill, Billy Mitchell and Beverly Griffin to the Candidate Recruitment and Liaison Committee. Samuel Harms, county GOP chairman, also named Dr. Bob Taylor, a county councilman, to the committee. Dennis Jones was elected to the Finance Committee, joining Joe Haynes, who was appointed by Chairman Harms. Joanne Meadows and Evert Headley were elected to the Rules Committee, joining Mike Green, who was named to the committee by Harms. Chairman Harms also serves on each committee.
