Betty Poe Presented Gov. Edwards Award

Greenville County Republican Party First Vice Chairman Betty Poe was presented the James Edwards volunteer award by former Governor Jim Edwards. Poe and former Greenville County resident Tony Denny both received the award at the 2008 South Carolina Republican Convention. Gov. Edwards was the first Republican elected Governor in South Carolina since federal occupation troops were removed from the Palmetto State in 1876.
