Is Running for School Boards a Waste of Time?
- By Steve Baldwin - Renewal Nation
Conservative parents can effectively change the state of education, but not how you might think.
Many more parents are waking up to the abject failure of the American public school system and are becoming desperate to take action to protect their children. The threats to their children’s well-being include vaccination mandates, dangerous ideologies, a failure to teach students basic writing and math skills, an obscene and unsafe sex education curriculum, allowing trans boys to use girls’ bathrooms, and the list keeps growing. Some are calling this the “Mama Bear Revolution.” Bravo, Momma Bears!
Prices Rise But Cannabis is Cheap
- By Anne Schlafly Cori, Eagle Forum Chairman
"Legalize and tax it" is the theory behind the social acceptance of vice, including gambling and drugs. Since "people are going to do it anyway," according to the theory, then government should take its cut of the money.
There are two fallacies to this theory:
Thomas More Society Attorneys Uphold Cathy Miller's Right to Practice Christian Principles on the Job

California Court Delivers Victory for Cake Artist Targeted for Religious Discrimination
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Cake designer Cathy Miller has been vindicated in the California courts for practicing her Christian principles on the job. On October 21, 2022, attorneys from the Thomas More Society brought home a First Amendment victory for the cake shop owner of Tastries, a popular Bakersfield, California bakery that was targeted by gay activists. The ruling, handed down by Judge Eric Bradshaw of the Superior Court of California in Kern County, decided for Miller in a lawsuit brought against her by the Department of Fair Housing and Employment.
Stop The North American Union
- By The John Birch Society
URGENT: The Biden administration is working with Mexico’s government to end U.S. national sovereignty by merging the U.S. with Mexico and Canada into a European Union-style organization. In recent comments, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) stated that “I think that [U.S. Secretary of State Antony] Blinken spoke about consolidating the region of North America, and we agree on that.” AMLO added that “We are also in favor of the unity of the entire American continent” under an EU-style agreement.

Dr. Robert Malone: The Weaponization of Health to Push Forward the Great Reset Agenda
"What we really have going on here has nothing to do with public health. It has everything to do with a financial crisis and a coordinated attempt to manage through that financial crisis so that those that currently control the bulk of the world's capital are able to maintain control."

Proposition 1 Guarantees More Than Late-Term Abortion
- By Stop Prop 1
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Proposition 1, an initiative on the November 8th ballot, will enshrine late term abortion in the California constitution.
This proposed amendment to the state constitution will not only guarantee "reproductive freedom" for every individual, regardless of age or sex, but it will also negatively and irreversibly impact the public health, safety, and general welfare of all Californians.
War and Regrets in Ukraine
- By Douglas Macgregor - The American Conservative
Washington may regret its role in the war in Ukraine.
Of the Vietnam War, Henry Kissinger, former national security advisor and secretary of State under Presidents Nixon and Ford, said, “We should never have been there.” Before long, Americans, even the politicians inside the Beltway, will reach the same conclusion about Washington’s Ukrainian proxy war against Russia.
No one in the White House, the Senate, or the House consciously set out to turn the proxy Ukrainian war with Moscow into a contest of “competitive societal collapse” between Russia and NATO. But here we are. No one imagined that the Biden administration and the bipartisan war party would drive Americans and Europeans into a political, military, and economic valley of death, from which there is no easy escape. Yet that is precisely what is happening.
As Schools Hide Trans Identities from and Fire Parents, Parental Rights Take Center Stage in Midterms
- By Dan Hart - The Washington Stand
In recent days, a Vermont high school soccer coach and parent was fired for using male pronouns in reference to a biologically male trans-identifying student who watched his daughter change in the girls’ locker room, and a Pennsylvania school was found to be instructing teachers to hide the preferred names and pronouns of trans-identifying students from their parents. The incidents are the latest in an escalating clash between school administrators and parents over the transgender issue that is spilling into the voting booth.
Legislative Update in South Carolina
- By The John Birch Society
We would like to update you about the outcome of several important bills in the South Carolina General Assembly.
Article V Convention
In March of this year, the South Carolina General Assembly voted to open the U.S. Constitution to radical revisions that could obliterate the God-given freedoms that it guarantees. And the following month, Governor Henry McMaster enacted that radical measure.
H.3205, a joint resolution, followed the wording of Mark Meckler’s vaguely worded Convention of States Project, or COS Project, application urging Congress to call a convention to propose amendments “that impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and limit the terms of office for its officials and for members of Congress.”
Moderates Are Leaning Right
- By Eagle Forum
Issues That Affect the Moderate Voter
With less than three weeks until election day, candidates are making their final pushes to reach undecided voters while voters are focusing on making their final decisions. While most states are leaning left or right, there are a handful of ‘outlier’ states that appear to be ready to split their votes between Republicans and Democrats. The dynamics of these states tell us what issues and politics are important to the moderate voter.

Chuck and Gail Nicholas, longtime Bob Jones Academy speech and debate coaches, were honored with the Order of the Silver Crescent at the 36th annual BJA Speech and Debate Tournament Saturday, Oct. 15. State Senator Daniel Verdin, 1982 BJA graduate, presented the honors at the conclusion of the tournament.

SC Senate in Effect Refuses to Shut Down Any "Abortion" Centers in South Carolina, by a vote of 17 Y to 26 N (3 Not Voting)
- By Christians for Personhood
Note: Neither the SC House nor the SC Senate versions of H5399 establishes legal recognition of Personhood for preborn children at fertilization, and therefore neither version provides for equal protection of the laws, and therefore neither version establishes Justice. The just course of action for the SC House and SC Senate to take is to pass the Personhood Act of SC (H5401 / S1335), not H5399.
On Tuesday, October 18 the SC Senate had the opportunity to either accept the SC House version of H5399 or to Insist on the Senate's version.
America's Dumb Energy Debates
- By Neil Patel
If forced to pick one main reason the Democrats are going to get routed in a month, I'd go with their crazy energy policies. In no other area is the link between their radical policies and people's real lives as directly connected and easy to understand.
Crime is close, but the crime boom is mostly happening in deeply blue cities. Law-abiding members of these communities are certainly rethinking politics. Many of them are minorities. Many Hispanic, Asian and Black Americans are repulsed by much of the university-driven radical woke agenda being pushed on them in democratic cities. They see the results daily. Their pushback in places like San Francisco and Seattle offers reason for hope for normal people everywhere, but it will take time and won't move the needle in a huge way this election cycle.

Fauci Can't Whitewash His Disastrous Legacy
- By David Harsanyi
This week, ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl asked Dr. Anthony Fauci, the soon-departing head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, if it was a "mistake" for schools to be shuttered as long as they were during the COVID pandemic. "We should realize, and have realized," Fauci answered, "that there will be deleterious collateral consequences when you do something like that," adding that he had "nothing to do" with schools closing.
This is a transparent legacy-saving revisionism.
Temecula City Council to Consider Resolution to Oppose California's Proposition 1
- By Christian Newswire
TEMECULA, Calif. -- After a contentious city council meeting, the city of Temecula has finally agreed to consider a resolution to oppose California's Proposition 1. Prop. 1 is the far-reaching, vague, ballot measure that would amend the California Constitution granting all individuals a right to "reproductive freedom in their most intimate decisions." No court or legislature, or even the proposed amendment itself, have defined what "reproductive freedom in their most intimate decisions" includes or excludes.

Puberty Blockers 'Stop' Fertility, Admits Hospital Gender Clinic Director
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
Infertility caused by puberty blockers is “a big deal” and “something you must have a conversation about,” said Dr. Jeremi Carswell, director of the Gender Multispeciality Service at Boston Children’s Hospital, in a video obtained by Breitbart. Her comments seemingly conflict with the hospital’s website, which claims puberty blockers are “temporary medicines that are completely reversible, [and] they do not cause any permanent changes.”
In explaining a slide on “Implications of Blockers,” Carswell said, “Fertility — another huge topic, right? Because if you are giving something that shuts down your estrogen or shuts down testosterone entirely, you’re going to stop — either, if you had already been producing sperm or eggs, then you’re going to stop doing that, and if you never started, then you’re not going to advance the gonads to be able to do that.”
Parental Rights Amendment Introduced in Congress
- By Parental Rights Foundation
WASHINGTON -- Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) today introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives an amendment to the United States Constitution. The Amendment would enshrine the traditional liberty of parents to direct a child's upbringing, education, and care as a fundamental right.
Lesko, who heads the Protect Kids Caucus in the House, believes protecting this traditional role of parents is key to keeping children healthy and safe. "Parental rights are under attack across our nation," Lesko says. "I am pleased to have the support of ParentalRights.org in introducing this crucial amendment to the US Constitution to enshrine parents' fundamental right to have a say in their children's education, and I will continue to advocate for protecting children and empowering parents in Congress."
Well Being: Disinformation Assault on Vitamin D
- By Robert W. Malone MD, MS
Factchecking The Washington Post Big Pharma propaganda
Guest research and opinion by Jeremy Harrigan, who previously contributed this essay on the WEF meetings in China.
If enough people wake up, pulling back the curtain on vitamin D as an alternative to Covid vaccines would be a huge blow to the “safe and effective” emergency use authorization (EUA) narrative supporting more COVID vaccines and booster shots. As we approach three years since the COVID-19 pandemic began, if the medical establishment/ Big Government and Big Pharma continues to have it their way, less vitamin D supplements will flow into American households as time marches on. And if people take it for granted that taking low levels of vitamin D is good enough, the Pharma-captured HHS would be fine with that (short of banning it if they could).
We Need Republicans to Deliver Our New Leadership
- By Star Parker
As November elections approach, the glaring and deeply troubling headline I see is Americans becoming increasingly alienated from their own country.
There has never been a greater need for a new generation of leaders to restore clarity about American principles and plant them in American hearts and minds.
The Wall Street Journal reports that all branches of the U.S. military are coming up short in recruiting goals.

Does the Bible Say that Noah’s Flood was Global?
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
One of the most common compromised positions is to claim that Noah’s Flood was just a local flood. Some try to connect it to events in the Black Sea, while others are ambiguous about it. So, what does the Bible really say about the extent of Noah’s Flood?
Amid Recession Fears, Americans Expected to Step Up Charitable Giving

Americans 'pessimistic' about economy, but charitable giving to 'remain steady or increase' in 2022, suggests new study by DickersonBakker
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Americans are "very pessimistic" about the economy, but the nation's nonprofit organizations look set to ride out the storm as donors focus on the greater good, a new nationwide research study suggests.
"Despite widespread donor pessimism about the economy, it does not appear that donors intend to significantly reduce their charitable donations this year," says the annual Donor Insight Study by nonprofit consultancy firm DickersonBakker (www.DickersonBakker.com). The national online survey of 2,358 largely faith-based donors took place mid-year.

Local churches lead huge 'Immanuel's Child' outreach as economic crisis, brutal winter bear down
LOVES PARK, Ill. -- A U.S.-based Christian charity is ramping up its efforts to bring hope to more than 60,000 children and orphans across Ukraine, Russia and the former Soviet Union this Christmas – 10,000 more children than last year.
The huge-scale, church-led Immanuel's Child outreach supported by Illinois-based Slavic Gospel Association (SGA, www.sga.org) gives local pastors and church members the opportunity to encourage thousands of children and their parents suffering from poverty and war, and facing the ominous threat of a brutal winter.
Fists of Furry
- By Michelle Malkin
Don't believe the pervert media. Reuters, NBC News, entertainer John Oliver and Denver 9News zealot Kyle Clark all want you to believe that parents nationwide are simply imagining an infestation of "furries" (children dressing up and identifying as animals) in their public schools. The gaslighting campaign is so toxically incandescent that you can see the glow from a SpaceX rocket.
