My 81 year old mother had to go to the emergency room three times with emphysema last year. She was hospitalized all three times. The first two times, I sent her to St. Francis Women’s Hospital. Both times, two separate doctors told me that my mother was old, her lungs were gone, and advised me not to treat her and let her die. The third time she had to go to a hospital, I sent her to Hillcrest Memorial Hospital. There she was treated for her emphysema and recovered. Here it is April 2010 and she is still alive. A doctor should not be able to decide who lives and who dies. That is up to God. America cannot call itself a Christian nation. We kill our elderly, sick and unborn babies. Yet, we jail someon who would kill a litter of puppies. |
