A massive effort is underway to persuade citizens of Greenville County that it is necessary to have a law that imposes severe restrictions on the use of real property by its owner. Citizens are bombarded with propaganda beginning in government schools and in the dominant media that is designed to persuade them that it is necessary to deprive property owners of freedom in order to preserve trees and thereby save the planet to be used as seen fit by an environmentalist political movement seeking power, influence and wealth at the expense of others.

The upcoming 2008 presidential election could be the last chance for survival of the Republican Party as it was known in the Reagan era. It is becoming rather apparent that true conservatives will stay home or vote for a third party candidate before they will again cast their ballot for a liberal or socialist candidate running on the Republican Party ballot. Voting for a Democrat is out of the question for most conservative Republicans who are informed.

He refused to allow the armed forces and diplomats of the United States to be brought under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.

A visitor from another planet who looked at America’s war for independence from Great Britain and merely tallied up the victories to see who won the war would conclude that the 13 original colonies were still under British rule. The fledging United States lost many more battles than they won but through persistence and the timing of their victories they prevailed in their struggle for liberty.
