Rabbi Baruch Bierman and his wife, Dr. Dominiquae Bierman. who are strong Messianic Jewish Believers, brought their message to several Upstate churches this past week. They are scheduled to be guests on the WGGS Nightline program tonight (Wednesday) at 8 p.m. Roberta Basham of Anderson has served as their hostess for their Upstate visit. Their plans for the next several weeks include visits and ministry in Virginia, Arkansas, and Texas. The Biermans represent a religious group known as TAPAC, the Trans Atlantic and Pacific Alliance of Churches, whose headquarters are in England. Mrs. Bierman serves as the TAPAC bishop for Israel. The Biermans live in the southern Israeli port city of Eilat, where they lead a House of Worship and conduct Shabbat worship and teaching meetings. They also hold prayer meetings twice a week to pray for revival. Another ministry of theirs in Eilat is a Bible School, in which they teach the Jewish roots of Christianity to visiting groups from numerous countries. They also conduct group tours of the Holy Land for foreign visitors. Add to all that. leading periodic group tours of the Holocaust sites in Europe, including the death camps of Aushwitz, Birkenau and Dachau in Poland and Germany. "God does something in my heart when I visit those camps," Mrs. Bierman said. "I lovingly call those camps my home." Baruch Bierman was born in Chicago in the United States into a Levite Jewish family. He related that he felt a call to become a rabbi when he was young. However, his life followed a different direction into worldly nightlife and drugs, which eventually landed him in prison. It was in a prison in Oklahoma one day when a man told him that Jesus loved him and died for his sins. A short time later while still in prison, he had a vision of a man in a bright white robe. Then he noticed that the man in the vision had a crown of thorns on his head. And the man spoke and said to him, "I love you." That vision led Baruch to pursue learning about Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew), and eventually to his placing his faith in Yeshua as his Savior and Messiah. Jewish Baruch was allowed to go to Israel on parole following two and one-half years in prison. He stayed and became a citizen, and some time later, his God-given call to become a rabbi was fulfilled. Dominiquae Bierman was born in Chile, South America. Her father was an avid Zionist leader who helped Chilean Jews make aliyah to Israel. When she was 11 years old, her entire family made the move to Israel themselves, and she became an Israeli citizen. She met Baruch in Israel and married him in 1998. Mrs. Bierman is the primary speaker of the two, and she related that God has wonderfully blessed their appeals for repentance and revival in their Upstate meetings. She also is the author or a dozen books, which are based primarily on her message of repentance, restoration, revival, and the Lord's return. The Bierman’s ministry information can be found on their website - www.kad-esh.org. |

A Jewish couple from Israel has come to America to call on Americans to repent and turn back to God. Repentance must precede revival, which must precede the return of the Lord, they stress.
