Can We Change “The History Of Our Future?
- By W.H. Lamb
“Are these the shadows of the things that will be, or are they shadows of things that may be, only?... Men’s courses will foreshadow certain ends, to which, if persevered in, they must lead. But if the courses be departed from, the ends will change….Say it is thus with what you show me.”
So said Ebenezer Scrooge to the “Spirit of Christmas Future”, in Charles Dickens’ classic 1843 novel, “A Christmas Carol”, one of his most popular and enduring books, one that pierced the souls of middle and upper class Victorian England, and forced them to confront how they treated the poor and overworked lower classes, and especially the children of those classes, in a country that changed the world in so many respects, but found it difficult to change how the people of England treated each other, at a time when the “Chartist Movement”---a leftist/socialist/Marxist style “people’s movement”, probably organized by descendants of Adam Weishaupt’s Satanic “Order ofIlluminati, raged throughout portions of Great Britain, and Christianity was still the prevalent religious and societal mandate among the proud middle and snobbish upper classes, at least on the surface.

Is There Any Evidence for Biblical Creation? - Part 7
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
This represents just a small sample the evidence for Biblical Creation. As this column proceeds more and more examples will be made available. The problem is that the people who claim that there is no evidence simply reject the evidence that exists. They do so in part because those that they see as experts do not accept it, and they are convinced that those “experts” are correct and also that they are objective. They often claim that if the evidence was there, it would be accepted. The problem is that the way these so-called experts handle evidence presented contrary to their standard views, they react in a way that shows a lack of objectivity.
The CFPB Is Putting Our Banking Arrangements at Risk
- By Veronique de Rugy
Nobody likes paying fees. A fee, however, is a transparent way to reflect the price of something. And in a market economy, prices convey vital information that consumers and producers use to make good decisions. A rise in the price of apples tells producers that consumers want more apples. This prompts more apple production (and eventually, lower prices). And so, when political interference keeps prices from fluctuating freely, the result is inefficiency and waste.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), calling the prices of bank overdraft protection "junk fees," now proposes to interfere with these prices.

Seeds Within Seeds: Continuous Creation and Natural Selection as Supernatural
- By Winston McCuen - South Carolina
One sign that a philosophy is true is that it is able to give definitive explanation to all possible false philosophies. True philosophy, as a component of a broader Christian wisdom that encompasses all that created man can come to know in this earthly life, can both highlight a true conception of creation and the error of anti-Biblical evolutionist theories and assumptions. A correct understanding of creation is the key to truly understanding, then refuting, and then finally dismissing evolutionist delusion.

Records: SC Offered Scout Motors Far Sweeter Deal Compared to MS
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
The $1 billion taxpayer-funded gift that S.C. lawmakers last year approved for the Scout Motors electric vehicle plant was seven times more than what officials in Mississippi, which lost out to South Carolina, were willing to offer in state grant funding through special legislation, records obtained by The Nerve show.
And, in addition to the vehicle assembly plant, Scout Motors, which German-based Volkswagen created in 2022, sought Mississippi incentives for a battery cell production “giga” factory, according to the company’s incentives wish list, known as a “request for proposal” (RFP), which The Nerve obtained earlier this month from the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) under that state’s open-records law.
Why Keep Worrying About Debt? Speculation Versus Reality
- By Veronique de Rugy
Over the years, I've offered many explanations about why the trajectory of the national debt is deeply troubling. At this point, though, my worry isn't rooted in a dogmatic adherence to the principles of a balanced budget. Nor does it come from my desire for a smaller government. Instead, I'm alarmed by politicians' unwillingness to look at the numbers and have a serious discussion about changing course.
When I first started paying close attention, the U.S. was essentially carrying a credit-card balance of 40% of America's GDP. Today, according to the Congressional Budget Office, that balance hovers around 98%. Imagine credit-card debt equal to your yearly salary, interest costs piling up and more inevitable debt coming your way. Congress doesn't seem to mind, which partly explains why even optimistic scenarios project the debt to soar to a staggering 180% within 30 years.

Progressive Black Pastors Misguided on War in Gaza
- By Star Parker
Some 1,000 Black pastors nationwide are reported to have weighed-in to pressure President Joe Biden to force a ceasefire in the war in Gaza.
According to one pastor, the war "has evoked the kind of deep-seated angst among Black people that I have not seen since the civil rights movement."
And per another, regarding the Palestinians, "we see them as a part of us ... They are oppressed people. We are oppressed people."
Ukraine War Survivor Overcomes Cancer to Help Traumatized Israelis
- By Slavic Gospel Association (SGA)
Given just months to live, courageous Christian missionary says 'sharing Gospel' most important thing
LOVES PARK, Ill. -- A Ukrainian couple facing their own life-and-death battle with advanced cancer are helping others suffering from anxiety and despair on the frontline of the Israel-Hamas war.
Ukrainian-born Jew Yura, 51, and his wife Luda, 53, who has undergone major surgeries and multiple rounds of chemotherapy to treat Stage 4 cancer, left Ukraine to live in Israel, only to find themselves facing Hamas' rockets — and a devastating medical diagnosis.
Initially, doctors gave Luda only 3-6 months to live. But she has defied expectations, with doctors saying her condition is currently stable — a "miracle" that she attributes to answered prayer.
The couple — their last name withheld for security reasons — serve as Christian missionaries supported by U.S.-based Slavic Gospel Association (SGA, www.sga.org) in the Israeli city of Ashkelon, just 8 miles from Gaza. Ashkelon has come under attack since the war started last October.

Biden's War Against the Internet
- By Stephen Moore
It's a miracle of private sector innovation and the magic of the free enterprise system that technologies that were only the playthings of the super-rich a generation ago are now available and affordable to almost all Americans.
Back in 2000, only half of Americans had internet access. Now it's 92%. Today, nearly 19 out of 20 adults have access to the internet on their smartphones. Does this sound like a market that needs assistance from the government?
If you answered yes, you also probably believe that Al Gore invented the internet.

Freedom’s 12 Everlasting Principles
- By W.H. Lamb
“And shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” - John 8;32 1599 Geneva Bible
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - John 8:32 NIV.
Some of the following words are mine—but the original thoughts are not. ALL of these concepts and words of wisdom belonged originally to others who pondered Freedom’s Principles before me—in some cases hundreds or thousands of years before. That’s what makes them so unique, for no matter how “old” these ideas are, or in what age they originated, or the circumstances that cause them to resurface in times of stressful “human events”, they never truly become outdated, because“principles” that can assure—and have done sofor many centuries—the survival of human liberty are eternal!
A Puppet Master Entangles His Republican Puppets in Greenville County GOP

A Tale of Entangled Strings and Deceitful Schemes
By James Spurck, Publisher
One of the biggest questions when a puppet show is put on is that many are curious to know, “Who is the Puppet Master?” During the show, a persistent question lingers in the minds of the attendees as they watch, “Who is he?” Who is the elusive puppeteer, deftly manipulating the strings from behind the scenes?
According to dictionary.com, this metaphorical term, Puppet Master, often describes someone who manipulates situations or individuals from behind the scenes, exerting influence and orchestrating events to suit their own desires.
In Greenville County, a puppet show has been happening for a few years. A puppeteer has been at play, operating his puppets and pulling the strings, directing actions and decisions to maintain his grip with a fear of possible detachment and potential loss of control.
The Chairman of the Greenville County Republican Party & Co. Vs Republican Party Priorities
- By Ana Artiel Helms
As a Precinct EC of the Greenville County Republican Party, it came to my attention that First Circuit Solicitor David Pascoe, a Democrat, has been invited as a guest speaker to our next Republican business meeting on February 5, 2024, to talk about Judicial Reform.
As a member of the Greenville County community, Greenville County Republican Party, and elected Precinct EC, I understand the importance of Judicial Reform in our State.
I also understand the need for our GCRP to address the division between the party's elected officials and the division between the members of the body. Allowing Mr. Pascoe, a Democrat, to speak at our party business meeting against the rising opposition of party members is not a way to bring unity to the party.
Scout Motors Threatens Legal Action Against The Nerve
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Scout Motors is threatening to take The Nerve to court if it publishes “confidential and proprietary” information contained in an incentives wish list that the Volkswagen company submitted to the state of Mississippi, which lost out to South Carolina for an electric vehicle assembly plant.
In a Jan. 24 formal notice of intent to take legal action, Jason Fortenberry, one of the Jackson, Miss., attorneys representing Scout Motors, warned The Nerve that the company will file a protective order petition in the Hinds County Chancery Court in Jackson by tomorrow unless The Nerve “withdraws or modifies” its request for the incentives wish list.

Prosecution of Pro-Lifers Continues under Biden's DOJ, with 6 More Convictions
- By Press Release
On Tuesday, a guilty verdict was announced for six pro-life activists for violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act at an abortion facility near Nashville, Tenn. The Biden administration’s Justice Department brought the charges, which stemmed from a peaceful protest on March 5, 2021, in which a group of pro-lifers prayed and sang hymns at the entrance to the Carafem Health Center Clinic.
Video of the protest shows a group of approximately 20-30 pro-life activists peacefully praying and singing hymns while standing and sitting along the walls of a hallway leading to the door of the abortion facility, with a small segment of the group sitting directly in front of the facility’s entrance. Roughly two hours into the vigil, a number of protestors were arrested for blocking the entrance without incident.

A review of James Tyrus Seidule's Robert E. Lee and Me
Published on the Abbeville Institute Blog, January 5, 2024
More than anybody else, Seidule, vice chair of the naming commission, is responsible for the desecration of Arlington National Cemetery
EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, I read a book that is so flawed, biased and outright wrong that I can hardly finish it. Such is the case with “Robert E. Lee and Me” by Tyrus Seidule. I have always sought to give those who disagree me a fair hearing. Occasionally I may even learn something. But in Mr. Seidule’s case, his book is nothing more than a vile anti-Southern rant.
