Scarborough: Jesus 'Never Once Mentioned' Abortion
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
On Friday, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough excoriated Christians who oppose abortion on the grounds that Jesus “never once mentioned it.” Reducing the gospel to a single issue is “heresy,” he said, and those who do so “are using Jesus as a shield to make 10-year-old, raped girls go through a living and breathing hell here on earth.” He argued that pro-life state legislators believe “that life begins at fertilization and ends at childbirth.” Here’s the full context of his mini-speech:

- By Billy Cannada - NGU
More than 40 North Greenville University faculty and staff members were recently honored for their years of service.
The university currently recognizes staff members’ years of service at five-year increments. The award is based on two criteria: an employee’s eligibility status and their service date.
“NGU has been blessed to have so many long-time employees who invest in the lives of our students and colleagues,” said NGU President Dr. Gene C. Fant, Jr. “Each year it’s fun to be reminded about how many people are marking their quintennial anniversaries. This is a living and thriving community that brings people together around a common purpose: equipping transformational leaders for the glory of God.”
The Label of Anti-Science
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
The charge of being anti-science is one of several often-used derogatory terms used by evolutionist against creationists. Now you will find some Christians for whom this charge is legitimate, but it is not a label the generally applies to creationists in fact most active creationists love science. The problem that most creationists have is the pushing of what can best be described as atheistic mythology in the guise of science.
The legitimate definition of anti-science is a set of attitudes that involve a rejection of science and the scientific method. Definition commonly used by evolutionist and others is the rejection of mainstream scientific views and methods or their replacement with unproven or deliberately misleading theories. With mainstream science referring to institutionalized science. The differences in these two definitions are considerable. The first definition Is about rejection of the very principles of science in general such as the scientific method. The second focuses on specific theoretical concepts being pushed by institutionalized science. In other words, the first one, which is a legitimate use of the term, is a rejection of science in principle. While the second is used against those who disagree with specific claims made under science. There is a huge difference in the meanings of these definitions. By the way in the second definition, I will give you one guess who gets decide whether or not a theory is unproven or deliberately misleading.

Why Is the Left Always So Deathly Afraid?
- By Stephen Moore
What is it about those on the Left of the political spectrum that they seem to not just live in perpetual fear of apocalypse and doom but they actually embrace it? It is their raison d'etre.
Is there something in the collective psyche or the DNA of modern leftists that they crave fear? And doom?
This cult of apocalypse started in the late 1960s with the doomsday predictions of "the population bomb," the title of a mega-bestselling book by Stanford University biology professor Paul Ehrlich. "The Population Bomb" predicted that mankind was breeding at a pace that would bring about a Malthusian nightmare of overpopulation, starvation, war, poverty and water shortages. All that was missing was a swarm of locusts. We were running out of everything.

Sen. Cramer on Dems' Same-Sex Marriage Bill: 'We Have to Fight Back on This'
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
Passing a bill enshrining same-sex marriage in national law would put the existence of religious nonprofit ministries at risk and send “a pretty strong message that religious beliefs don’t matter,” a Republican senator has said.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) vowed Wednesday to bring a bill decreeing that all 50 states must recognize same-sex marriages to the floor “in the coming weeks.” Schumer needs 10 Republican votes to overcome a filibuster — which he may find by tying the controversial redefinition of marriage bill to a measure to keep funding the government after September 30.
Some Republicans “just want to get this thing behind us, and the faster we can do that, the better. And the best way to do that is to simply give them the votes they need to pass the bill,” Senator Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) told Family Research Council President Tony Perkins on “Washington Watch” Wednesday.
Getting The United States Out Of The United Nations, And The United Nations Out Of The United States: Is It Possible? - Part 2
- By W.H. Lamb
John McManus, retired long-time CEO of The John Birch Society, usually has a section in the monthly “Bulletin” of the JBS dedicated to “GETTING US OUT! OF THE UNITED NATIONS”, and provides needed information for both members, prospective members, and all dedicated patriots on the devious and sovereignty-destroying machinations emanating from that den of Marxist mendacity that has occupied some of the most valuable real estate in New York City since 1945. (The final sale from the original land developer was arranged by Nelson Rockefeller, globalist supreme, and financed by his father, John D. Rockefeller, Jr. The 18 acre site reportedly cost Rockefeller $8.5 million).

Food for thought
- By Author Unknown
What man in his 20s or 30s doesn't believe, at least subconsciously, that he'll live forever? In the springtime of youth, an endless summer beckons. As you pass 70, it's harder to hide from real time! Nations also have seasons: Imagine a Roman of the 2nd century contemplating an empire that stretched from Britain to the Near East, thinking: This will endure forever.... Forever was about 500 years, give or take.
France was pivotal in the 17th and 18th centuries; now the land of Charles Martel is on its way to becoming part of the Muslim ummah.
In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the sun never set on the British empire; now Albion exists in perpetual twilight. Its 96-year-old sovereign is a fitting symbol for a nation in terminal decline.

Democrats Add Same-Sex Marriage Language to Government Spending Bill
- By Eagle Forum
The United States House and Senate are back in Washington, D.C. for the full month of September. As Democrats set the legislative schedule, they have one goal in mind: win as many seats as possible in the November elections. This means the bills they put on the floor will force Republicans to take tough votes. Conservative voters, on the other hand. are looking for Members of Congress who will oppose bills dealing with same-sex marriage, federal spending, and Green New Deal policies. Both parties are vying for the undecided moderate voter which adds another layer to these votes.

Championing Opportunity is a Winning Strategy for Democrats
- By Veronique de Rugy
Today's political parties lack ideas. The Republicans define themselves as opponents of Democrats. Yet many of the GOP economic policy positions resemble, with minor variations, those of Democrats. Meanwhile, the Democrats repeat the same simplistic refrain: "solve" every problem with more money and stricter regulations. How dreary and unproductive.
To the Democrats in charge right now, let me offer an idea as you try to fight poverty, inequality and corporate influence: Transform yourselves from the party of handouts and regulations into the party of opportunity.
Finding hope through tragedy God saved Pierre Salmon for a reason
- By Billy Cannada - NGU
As the lone survivor of a car accident that took the lives of two of his friends in the fall of 2000, Pierre Salmon spent many of the days that followed asking two simple questions.
“Why am I still here? Why didn’t you take me?”
Salmon, a 2000 graduate of North Greenville University, shared his story in a recent documentary.
“There were a lot of mixed emotions. I was in a place where I didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything. I had what I later found out was survivor’s guilt,” Salmon said.

Welcome to the Green New Deal, California
- By David Harsanyi
If California, our most populous state, were its own nation, it would rank as the world's fifth largest economy and boast the highest average household income (outside a handful of "countries" like Monaco or Luxemburg). And, yet, the governor is begging its citizens to stop using their appliances, turn off their lights and keep their thermostats at a stifling 78, lest they suffer more rolling blackouts, like some junior mandarin in a Third World country.
Of course, I kid when I say that California is already experiencing the effects of the Green New Deal. A state that still derives more than 66% of its energy from non-renewable sources, has tens of trillions of dollars to go before it meets President Joe Biden's promise of a 65% reduction in emissions by 2030. The flooding of an already rickety grid with undependable renewables offers only a small taste of the "transition" to "clean energy."
