State Farm Bales on Full Apology
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
There's an old saying that the only things in the middle of the highway are yellow stripes and roadkill. State Farm is finding that out, four days into a raging PR disaster of their own making. To no one's surprise but theirs, Americans didn't respond too kindly when the insurance company was caught dishing out transgender books to five-year-old kids. Angry customers started ringing agents' phones off the hook, asking what the devil they were doing wading into the LGBT debate. Headquarters blinked. But instead of touching the hot stove and backing away, State Farm got burned by another mistake: believing it could please both sides.
The Trouble With Do-Somethingism on Guns
- By David Harsanyi
Before we even knew how the killer of 19 children and two adults at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, had obtained his guns, Sen. Chris Murphy was engaging in his customary performative emotionalism on the Senate floor, literally begging Republicans to "compromise."
Compromise on what exactly? Murphy has never once offered a single proposal that would have deterred any of these mass shooters. Literally minutes after his routine, Murphy was asked about the obvious mental illness prevalent among most of these shooters. "Spare me the bulls--- about mental illness," the Connecticut senator responded, "ripping" the GOP. "We don't have any more mental illness than any other country in the world." That's how serious he is about compromise.
Feds Pushing Liberal Investment Schemes in Local Government, Business Sectors
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
The Biden administration and Democratic-controlled U.S. House collectively have been focusing on local municipalities, publicly traded companies and private retirement plans to promote the environmental, social and governance movement that is popular among liberal groups, records show.
Republican state and federal officials in South Carolina are opposing those efforts, contending, among other things, that mandating ESG factors will hurt taxpayers, businesses and individuals financially.
Critics say ESG scores are being used by banks, investment and accounting firms, and credit rating agencies to grade companies on how well they have adopted certain liberal values or policies, such as reducing the effects of climate change, increasing diversity on their governing boards, and supporting social justice causes.
Are All Men Created Equal?
- By Pat Buchanan
Ideology is political religion, said the conservative sage Russell Kirk.
And what is the defining dogma of the political religion, or ideology, of America in 2022?
Is it not that, "All men are created equal"?
Yet, as with every religion, a basic question needs first to be asked and answered about this defining dogma of liberal ideology.
WHO Withdraws 12 of Biden’s “Sovereignty” Amendments to IHR; May Revisit Them Later
- By Veronika Kyrylenko - The New American
The global backlash against the proposed amendments to the WHO’s International Health Treaty (IHR) — which would have ceded national sovereignty over to globalists — along with legal actions in the United Kingdom have resulted in almost all of those amendments being dropped for the time being. There is nothing, however, to prevent the global overlords from revisiting the agenda.
According to independent journalist James Roguski, who monitored the hearings, 12 of the 13 amendments submitted by the Biden administration for a vote in the World Health Assembly (WHA) this week in Geneva have been removed from consideration.

Finding a Path in a Plague of Evil
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Two more days, and the classrooms would have been empty. Parents would be at home, going over lists for summer camp or rubbing sunblock on those small faces at the pool. They wouldn't be reliving the moment they dropped their sons and daughters off at school, kissing them goodbye for what would be the last time. They wouldn't be waking up in the rawest pain of their lives, empty bedrooms down the hall. And they wouldn't be consumed by the guilt that if they'd just kept their kids home that day, none of this would have happened.

102 Georgia Counties Can't Produce Drop Box Videos -- VoterGA Issues Demand Letter to State Election Board
- By VoterGA
ATLANTA -- VoterGA announced today their drop box video survey team determined that 102 Georgia counties were unable to produce drop box surveillance videos from the November 2020 election. The team obtained admissions from 72 counties that all of the videos intended to monitor drop boxes for ballot trafficking were destroyed. VoterGA volunteers made the determinations by submitting Open Records Requests (ORR) for the videos from each county. Thus, video monitoring is missing for 181,507 cast ballots.
At a November 9, 2021 press conference, VoterGA announced that their ballot image analysis team determined at least 70 Georgia counties were unable to produce all the original ballot images from the November 2020 election. Digital ballot images are created automatically by the Dominion voting system for results tabulation. The team obtained admissions from 56 counties that most or all of their ballot images were unavailable. A total of 1.7 million images were destroyed.
Open Doors Calls on Biden Administration to Re-Assign Nigeria to Notable List of Countries Violating Religious Freedoms
- By Open Doors USA
Violence against Christians in Nigeria, including the recently reported news of Christian college student's horrific murder, has continued unabated since the nation was removed last year
WASHINGTON-- In the six months since the Biden administration removed Nigeria from its list of "Countries of Particular Concern" (CPC)—which identifies those in severe violations of religious freedom—religious violence has continued to surge across the region. Last week's gruesome stoning and burning of Nigerian Christian college student, Deborah Samuel, by extremist classmates who accused her of blasphemy, made international news and shocked the world. According to Open Doors' local sources, before she was attacked, Samuel posted a message in a WhatsApp group saying, "Jesus Christ is the greatest. He helped me pass my exams." That simple message led to her death.
Food Crisis Being Engineered by the Deep State
- By Alex Newman - The New American
Catastrophic food shortages and even famine are being engineered by the Deep State in a bid to centralize control over the food supply and ultimately the population of the planet, warns The New American magazine's Alex Newman in this episode of Behind The Deep State. Key globalist Deep State operatives such as Henry "New World Order" Kissinger have flirted with the idea of food shortages as a population-control weapon for generations. The goals are clear. And now, thanks to deliberate policy decisions taken by Deep State-controlled governments and organizations, a true food crisis of global proportions is emerging. Newman also provides ideas on how to deal with the coming threat--before it's too late. You will want to share this one with your friends and family!
Sabotaging America's Military From Within
- By Michelle Malkin
A year ago this month, a comparison of military recruitment ads from China, Russia and the U.S. went viral on social media. Our foreign competitors wooed their potential enlistees with muscular appeals to national pride and protection of the traditional nuclear family. A U.S. Army promotional campaign, by contrast, featured a pastel-hued cartoon depiction of a female soldier named "Emma" who marched in a gay pride parade with her two mothers and became a soldier to "shatter some stereotypes."
The State of Black America
- By Star Parker
I am so pleased and proud that the first annual edition of the "State of Black America" (Encounter Books), published by my organization, CURE, Center for Urban Renewal and Education, in conjunction with the Claremont Institute has just been released.
CURE was founded to provide a platform for an alternative vision of what "Black America" is about and what the real challenges are of our citizens of color.
Heretofore, the left has dominated the discussion concerning Black Americans. The left has dominated the discussion to such an extent that too many Americans of all backgrounds believe that the view from the left captures all chapter and verse of who Black Americans are and what ideas and policies will best serve them.
Mark Clayton Says Tennessee Registry of Election Finance Violates Civil Rights Act of 1871 Klu Klux Klan Act
- By Christian Newswire
Reaction of Mark Clayton to False Accusation of a Threat
NASHVILLE - Public Advocate president Eugene Delgaudio says:
"At last week's (Wednesday, May 18, 2022) Johnathan Hall hearing, individual state actors acting under color of law at the Tennessee Registry Board of Election Finance seemed to conspire to create a false political theater and clearly ambushed Mark Clayton in order to make false accusations of criminal behavior against Clayton.
"In lay terms, a spokesman presenting an emotional but sincere defense of a much attacked conservative black office holder was thrown out of a proceeding without real cause.
"The prosecutor seems to be using the registry to punish a witness for Mark Clayton and create a chilling effect on 30 other named witnesses in State v Clayton in which Mark Clayton defeated DA Glenn Funk's entire office by having the Judge dismiss the entire case.
"At the hearing, these state actors at the Registry board were told by Mark Clayton he is a key witness, in the cited Johnathan Hall case on their public agenda, is an interested party, and an on the record Interpleader party to the Johnathan Hall case.
"While he was speaking Clayton also asserted that the entire office of the prosecutor is already disqualified under court rules to prosecute Clayton and is also disqualified from prosecuting Johnathan Hall for revenge."

How To Reflect America
- By Anne Schlafly Cori
What is "diversity"? Everyday, I read about companies and schools bragging about the "diversity" of their employees and students, but this "diversity" is usually based on only a few superficial characteristics.
After a recent interview by a reporter from National Public Radio, I received the following email: "NPR is trying to do a better job reflecting America. When you have a sec, could you send me the following:
Sherman’s Campaign against Atlanta 1864
- By Mike Scruggs
The Legacy of Total War Strategy
Many historians date the Atlanta campaign from late April 1864 to September 2, 1864. The September 2 date, however, only marks the withdrawal of General Hood’s Confederate forces from Jonesboro and the official surrender by Atlanta Mayor, James Calhoun. That leaves out an important part of the history. It was not until November 12 that Sherman destroyed Atlanta by ordering all buildings except homes and churches to be burned. Many homes and churches, however, were caught up in the conflagration.
Union forces had begun to probe Confederate strength south of Ringgold, Georgia on April 24 with the objective of a major advance on Atlanta, an important Confederate railroad center and supply depot. Up until the middle of May, General Joe Wheeler’s Confederate cavalry were able to frustrate Sherman’s enormous army of over 100,000 men attempting to advance toward Atlanta.
We're Giving More Power to WHO?
- By Michele Bachmann - Family Research Council
In the United States we have lived under emergency orders from presidents, governors, and mayors for almost a year and a half.
These emergency orders have badly damaged our lives, our businesses, our (American) healthcare delivery system, and our ability to offer up a medical-scientific opinion that differs with or contradicts pronouncements from the World Health Organization (WHO). Presenting opinions that clash with the WHO's render the speaker subject to being called disseminator of "disinformation" by the squads of "fact checkers" that do nothing but work to enforce the prevailing "narrative."
The American economy was destroyed by COVID profligacy. We suffered devastating losses that will last a lifetime.
“Q”: Quack, Quisling, or Conspiracy Theory? – Part 1
- By W.H. Lamb
Before we dig into the “Q” phenomenon, let’s define some terms:
- QUACK: Obviously, the usual sound that a duck makes; but in this context, the derisive term aimed at a member of a profession, such as an attorney or, most often, a doctor, when it is discovered that said “professional” was never trained in that discipline but has been practicing it for a long time, many times injuring his/her victims either financially or medically, or both;
- QUISLING: A traitor who collaborates with an enemy force occupying one’s country. Named after Vidkun Quisling, a Norwegian army officer who founded Norway’s Fascist Party in 1933. He met with Adolph Hitler in December 1939 and urged him to invade and occupy Norway, which Hitler did in April, 1940. Quisling served as the puppet or figurehead President of Norway for the Nazis from 1940 to 1945. After Norway’s liberation in 1945, Quisling was executed for treason;
- CONSPIRACY THEORY: Something that is believed by either a small or large group of people, sometimes true and sometimes not true, and usually called “silly” or “ridiculous” by those at whom the “facts” are aimed, and which are usually put forth to try to explain the “true story” behind a particular real world event or an unfavorable shift in the culture of a nation or nations.
Democrats' Latest Phony Inflation Scapegoat: Credit Cards
- By Stephen Moore
In this administration, it's always someone else's fault. Inflation is now the No. 1 concern of voters, so the White House first blamed COVID. Then Donald Trump's tax cuts. Then Vladimir Putin. Then meatpackers and the poultry industry, Big Oil and pharmaceutical companies.
Now, Democrats have identified a new inflation scapegoat: plastic. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other credit cards hidden away in your wallet.
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) has had it out for credit cards for almost two decades, even though over that period, credit cards, which were once reserved for the rich, are now nearly ubiquitous in our society. Many stores don't even take cash anymore in the post-COVID world. The benefits and conveniences of paying with a plastic card are easily in the tens of billions of dollars to retailers and shoppers. Stores benefit because shoppers don't have to have cash on hand to make purchases. They also benefit from not having to deal with the exchange of cash, which can lead to theft by unscrupulous employees at the register.
Will Midterms Be Biden's Last Hurrah?
- By Pat Buchanan
For half a decade now, America's media elite have been obsessed with former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party's conversion to Trumpism.
Press and TV are daily consumed with his actions and prospects and the future of the party he captured in 2016.
Perhaps it is time to consider the prospects of President Joe Biden and the political future of his embattled presidency.
What are the odds that Biden, like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama before him, will run again in 2024, win reelection, serve out a second term and transfer his office to the 47th president on Jan. 20, 2029?
Critics Fear ESG Factors Could Diminish State Pension Investments
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Two major investment management firms that handle a large chunk of South Carolina’s pension plan for state retirees are big proponents of the controversial environmental, social and governance (ESG) movement, The Nerve found in a review of pension and other records.
Of the approximately $39 billion market value of all investments by the pension plan at the end of last fiscal year, about $18.5 billion, or nearly half of the total, was managed by two of the world’s largest asset managers – New York-based BlackRock and Boston-based State Street Corporation, pension records show.
