Disney Way Undermines Authority of Scripture
- By Children's Ministries International, Inc.
In Evangelicalism, there is a movement in children's ministry that promotes the wisdom and business practices of entertainment mogul Walt Disney (1901-1966). These influencers encourage children's pastors and children's ministry leaders to use Disney's ideas to build the children's ministry in their congregations. This methodology is known as the "Disney Way."
As with every innovative approach to ministry, this one must also be examined in the light of Scripture.
First, the Disney Way of children's ministry robs God of His glory. The Bible says all glory belongs to God (I Peter 4:11), and He doesn't share His glory with anyone (Isaiah 42:8, 48:11; Psalm 115:1).
If a local church successfully implements the Disney Way, and these methods effectively attract more kids to the children's ministry, who gets the credit? Not Christ. The praise goes to Disney and his genius. The Disney Way glorifies man by putting human will, human ability, and human achievement above God. Giving a man credit for church growth steals glory from God.
Look over Here! Another bright shiny object to distract those silly Americans
- By Kat Stansell - American Policy Center
With news of the Chinese Olympics all over the media, Xi and Putin met in a summit on Feb. 4, 2022. This meeting produced an “unprecedented 5400 word joint statement” which has “consolidated their alliance against the United States.” We , it seems, have entered a new Cold War, while we were waiting for the sporting events to start.
What else could we expect? The strength of the United States has been gravely eroded by pathetic actions of the feckless coup in Washington, DC. America is no longer a threat, but has become a weak sister on the international stage, a veritable laughingstock, who has the respect of few around the world. This puts us and our freedoms in direct danger of destruction, from the outside as well as the inside. The Russia/China alliance has been being built over the last decade, but was severely interrupted by the strong leadership of Donald Trump from 2017 – 2020. As soon as the CCP got Joe Biden installed behind the barbed wire in DC, they knew they would be free to dominate the world.
U.S. Sponsors Fan the Olympic Flame
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
America's biggest companies may be downplaying their Olympic sponsorships at home, but in Beijing? You can't walk two feet without a flashy reminder of the U.S.'s heavy corporate presence. "At the bottom of the slope where snowboarders [compete]... an electronic sign cycles through ads for companies like Samsung and Audi," the New York Times explains. "Coca-Cola's cans are adorned with Olympic rings. Procter & Gamble has opened a beauty salon in the Olympic Village. Visa is the event's official credit card." Like most of today's corporate culture, it's the tale of two continents: demand "justice" at home, enable the violators of it abroad.
Congressional Candidate Lynz Piper-Loomis Addresses Her Primary Opponent's ANTI-2A Votes
- By Liberty & Justice Consulting Firm
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Congressional Candidate Lynz Piper-Loomis released the following statement:
"It is a sad day in SC-01 when we now have TWO anti-second amendment candidates running for the people's seat. One deceived our former President, one deceived our district. We CANNOT make this mistake again. Katie Arrington shamelessly voted AGAINST H 3700, which was our state's constitutional carry legislation. She failed to uphold our constitutional values. Nancy Mace, our Pelosi puppet member of Congress, voted for the NDAA, which has RED FLAG LAWS. I fully support 2A no restrictions. I fully support non-federalized reciprocity so people do not have to register their freedoms. I'm proud to be the only pro-second amendment candidate in this race. I will NEVER cower like my primary opponents on upholding and protecting our sacred constitutional rights. I will ALWAYS stand for our U.S. Constitution."

The Power of God in Politics
- By Mike LaPierre – On the Record
Politicians often neglect discussing the all-consuming nature of the Lord our God.
We may mention an awareness of the Creator or "touch base" with Him in a cursory prayer before or after a political event, but have you ever listened to a political figure wax eloquent and DECISIVE about the power of the GREAT I AM in the political arena?
The answer is a resounding NO! Even those with a ministerial background, now turned politicians, nibble around the edges when it comes to religion and politics. Instead, we leave it to the great political leaders of yesteryear who were men and women of faith to sound the alarm for faith, freedom, and virtue in the public square of 2022. Where are our Christian political leaders today? Why are they cowering in the corners of servitude and bondage of the secular humanist political arrangement?

Who Murdered All the Asian Women -- and Who's Covering It Up?
- By Michelle Malkin
I'm a 5-foot-1, 105-pound, 51-year-old woman of Pacific Islander/Asian descent. That's much more personal data than most women are willing to share publicly, but I'm all about being blunt. Let's face it: My gender, ethnic background and small stature make me a perfect target for violent crime in big cities that are soft on criminals -- especially repeat offenders who happen to be black.
Black-on-Asian violence is a bloody reality. According to the federal Bureau of Justice Statistics criminal victimization report published in 2019, 182,230 Asians in America were victims of violent crime in 2018. Black offenders were the perpetrators in a whopping 27.5% of those cases -- the highest of any racial group. Given that black Americans make up only 12% of the population, that means black offenders on a per capita basis commit more than five times as many violent attacks on Asians as whites or Hispanics.
The Thin Viability Line
- By Dr. John Seago - Eagle Forum
This year promises to hold seismic shifts in the cultural, spiritual, and legal battles over abortion, so let us prepare to face these challenges with prudence, courage, and faith.
The most consequential Pro-Life development of last year was the Supreme Court of the United States agreeing to hear arguments in the Dobbs v. Jackson case. This case could be the vehicle to overturn or drastically reign in the two most deadly rulings in our country’s history: Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. The second development is the passage of the Texas Heartbeat Act, which has saved thousands of preborn lives already, and has served as a beacon of light for how our country can move into a post-Roe era.
Is Roe Finally Over?
Learning the Lessons of Black History
- By Star Parker
February is Black History Month.
Why do we need Black History Month? Why don't we set aside special occasions to observe the history of other ethnicities in our country?
My answer to this question is that Black history tells a uniquely important story in our nation. It is a story that no other race or ethnicity shares. It is a story that must be grasped and understood if we are to understand our country as a whole, where it has been and where it needs to go.
Unique among a large percentage of Black Americans is a history in which their ancestors did not choose to come to America. They were brought here by force and enslaved. No other ethnicity shares a history in which their ancestors did not come here by choice.
Soul-Searching Middle East Youth Turn to 'Streams in the Desert'
- By SAT-7
Two-thirds of arid region's young people stream videos on phones; SAT-7 PLUS eyes 'digital generation' with gospel
EASTON, Md. -- Thousands of soul-searching young people in the Middle East, including many from Muslim families, are using their smartphones to watch the first-ever Christian video-on-demand streaming service in the vast desert region.
Since launching a year ago, SAT-7 PLUS -- a Netflix-type service that streams faith-based programs 24/7 in Arabic, Farsi and Turkish across the Middle East and North Africa -- is growing by the day.
The free on-demand channel is a "game changer" for sharing the Christian message of peace and love in the troubled region where Christians often find themselves isolated from other believers and unable to talk about their faith openly.
Under Pandemic Lockdowns, the Rich Got Richer and the Poor Got Crushed
- By Stephen Moore
Today, two years after COVID-19 first hit these shores from China, most studies confirm that the heavy-handed government lockdowns of businesses, restaurants, schools, churches and parks did more harm than good to our health and well-being.
States and countries with strict and prolonged lockdown and stay-at-home orders had slightly better health outcomes, but they ruined their economies and had highly adverse effects on children.
If any good comes out of COVID-19, it should be that we've learned this lesson the hard way, and never, never again should we allow politicians to impose these unconstitutional lockdown orders again.
Now we have evidence of more collateral damage from lockdowns, and perhaps this will persuade even those on the far left who generally support the heavy hand of government.
GOP Gives Big Business Feud for Thought
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
This Valentine's Day, there's no love lost between conservatives and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The word "strained" doesn't begin to describe the two sides' relationship after drifting even farther apart last year. Since the election, things have taken an increasingly bitter turn under the group's woke leadership, who seem to be enamored with Leftist organizations like Black Lives Matter that helped torch cities in 2020 and led to the shutdown of businesses the Chamber is supposed to represent. And by the looks of it, those fences aren't going to be mended anytime soon.

The Richard Nixon His Loyalists Knew
- By Pat Buchanan
Whenever America is polarized, as it is today, people go back in memory and history to recall other times their nation was so divided.
The Civil War of the 1860s and the social revolution that tore us apart in the 1960s come instantly to mind. In that latter time, there was no figure more central to the conflicts of his day than Richard M. Nixon.
And no staff member was closer to Nixon in the campaign of 1968, or for the first four years of his presidency, than his personal aide Dwight Chapin, whose memoir, "The President's Man," is published this week.
Coincidentally, this February of 2022 is the 50th anniversary of Nixon's trip to China that changed the world. Chapin was at Nixon's side every day of that trip and had negotiated with the Chinese to prepare the schedule for both the president and first lady Pat Nixon.
The Gates of Hell
- By Mike Scruggs
The Disgraceful History of Civil War POW Camps
Almost 13,000 Union prisoners of war died in Confederate custody at a Confederate POW camp near Andersonville, Georgia, during the last 14 months of the war in 1864 and 1865. That was about 29 percent of the total of 45,000 Union prisoners held there during the war. The exact number according to actual records was 12,919. That was more than half of the 22, 576 total Union deaths in Confederate POW camps. This represents 8.4 percent of the 270,000 Union prisoners held in POW camps during the Civil War.
Although this tragic number of deaths was made into a continuous blizzard of anti-Southern propaganda in Northern political campaigns after the war, the Andersonville prisoners were not mistreated by Confederate authorities or Confederate guards at the camp. The Confederate guards died at the same rate as the prisoners. The principal causes of death at Andersonville were dysentery, diarrhea, typhoid, smallpox, scurvy, and hospital gangrene. About half the prisoners suffered from scurvy. Malnutrition had greatly increased the vulnerability of men to these diseases and made wound recovery less likely. Many of the men were so emaciated that photos enraged the Northern public.
U.S. Rep. Mace Owes $11.5K in S.C. House Ethics Fines
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, who is an ex-S.C. House member, owes a total of $11,500 in civil fines to the state House Ethics Committee for campaign reporting violations related to her former position, according to the committee’s top lawyer.
The total includes a $600 fine for the late filing of a campaign report due last month, Jane Shuler, the committee’s chief legal counsel, said in a written response this week to The Nerve’s questions about Mace’s fines.
An online list of House Ethics Committee fines, which was last updated in December, shows that Mace was separately fined $5,100 last year for the late filing of campaign reports due in January and April, plus another $700 for the late filing of a report due in July.
Who Controls China, Controls the World
- By Kathleen Marquardt - American Policy Center
We have read many articles seen many videos recently saying that America could be at war with China soon. If that is so, it would be straight out of George Orwell’s 1984, where we are fighting with other areas of the world just to keep our citizens afraid and in line. And yesterday, it was sent home to me.
My phone rang and told me I had a call from Mainland China. Did I answer? NO! Why would anyone in China be calling me? For a second, I thought it might be the people in Wuhan calling about an article I wrote a couple of years ago that they wanted to be pulled. But no, I had their number.
Then the voicemail came:
This Is NOT a Democracy – It Never Has Been!
- By W.H. Lamb
What has always been (until recently) one of the most prominent characteristics of the Constitutional Republic given to us by our Founders? It has been the more or less peaceful transition of governmental power from one presidential administration to the next—often from one political party to a different one. (different, at least, on paper). That was what almost always separated us from the wild and mob dominated “politics” of other countries on this planet. The U.S. has always experienced the ire of a disappointed electorate, caused by real or imagined vote “tampering” or deliberate miscounting of votes. But with the election of Donald Trump as our 45th President back in November, 2016, the “robe” of Presidential “investiture” began to be purposely unraveled in a tangle of lies, conspiracies, invectives, incriminations, and downright malevolence! It has gone downhill quickly after that.
Truckers to Make a Stand on the Hill: What to Expect When You Step Foot Into Washington D.C.
- By Alexander Reyes - Right Wire Report
As the battle for freedom between Truckers and officials marches on for our neighbors in Canada, Truckers in the United States are creating their own convoy to head to our nation's capital to peacefully redress their government. This convoy will include many of who are also ready to stand against the mandates. What this means for corrupted politicians is an attempt to use their power to silence the majority by any means necessary, which we are already seeing done to our freedom-loving neighbors in the North. Therefore, it would be wise to have a look at the many scare tactics the swamp will try to use in an attempt to divide The Truckers in March.
The Truck Stops Here
- By Family Research Council Staff
As the truckers' protest in Ottawa enters its third week, Canadian lawmakers are beginning to feel the pain. While some snarl traffic in the capital, other vehicles have blocked three U.S.-border crossings, including the busiest -- Ambassador Bridge between Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario. Earlier today, protestors opened one lane to Canada-bound traffic, but Ontario Premier Doug Ford declared a state of emergency anyway. For protestors who don't return home, "there will be consequences, and they will be severe," Ford threatened -- up to $100,000 and a year in prison.
The protest began with 150,000 trucks around Ottawa, Albertan long-hauler Tim Norton informed "Washington Watch" viewers from his cab. "People from all over Canada" joined the truckers for the weekend to form a throng of 2.4 million (6 percent of Canada's population). Officials "thought they'd maybe get us out of here before the weekend because, on the weekend, there's going to be another two million people here again." But truckers like Norton are prepared to stay "as long as it takes. I'm prepared to sit here for a year."
Educators from Around the Globe Unite in ACSI Annual Day of Prayer
- By Association of Christian Schools International
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Thousands of Christian educators around the world will join in celebrating the fifth annual ACSI Day of Prayer Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022.
The ACSI Day of Prayer is one of the Association's most popular events, focusing on advancing Christ-centered education through prayer. ACSI President Dr. Larry Taylor looks forward to the unification of schools around the world through prayer.
"There's no doubt that the past few school years have been unique and challenging, but God desires for His people to flourish in spite of the surrounding circumstances," he said.
The theme for this year's Day of Prayer is "Shalom," emphasizing the importance of finding contentment in Jesus no matter the cultural tides. According to the website, the theme also reminds individuals that all have a part to play in God's larger story.

GiveSendGo Co-Founders Push Back Against False Information Spread by Mainstream Media: 'Everything You Read Isn't True'
- By GiveSendGo
BOSTON -- GiveSendGo's co-founders Jacob Wells and Heather Wilson are urging the public not to believe everything they read after two pieces of false information regarding the company have been circulating in the news this week.
In a recent article published on Tuesday, TechCrunch claims to have been "tipped off" about a data lapse containing thousands of photos of giver's passports and drivers' licenses dating back to February 4, just two days after the "Freedom Convoy 2022" campaign was first created on GiveSendGo.
"Everything you read isn't true," said GiveSendGo Co-founder Heather Wilson. "There was no data breach exposing giver's photos, passports, or driver's licenses. GiveSendGo doesn't require anyone to upload pictures containing a person's identification when donating."
America Is Recovering From COVID Overreach
- By Joshua Arnold
"It's time we accept COVID is here to stay and we just need to get on with our lives," said 70 percent of Americans in a recent Monmouth University poll. Echelon Insights reported 55 percent of voters believe COVID-19 should be treated as "endemic," while 38 percent believe it should be "treated as a public health emergency." Why are attitudes shifting away from a pandemic mindset? Perhaps its because, as a Kaiser Family Foundation survey found, 75 percent and 73 percent of adults are "tired" or "frustrated," respectively.
Stress Test for a Fading Superpower
- By Pat Buchanan
Because America entered both world wars of the 20th century last, while all the other great powers bled one another, and because we outlasted the Soviet Empire in the Cold War, America emerged, in the term of President George H.W. Bush, as "the last superpower."
We had it all. We were the "indispensable nation." We saw further into the future. We could impose our "benevolent global hegemony" on all mankind. And so it was that we set out to create a "new world order," plunging into successive wars in Iraq, the Balkans, Afghanistan, Iraq again, Syria, Libya, Yemen.
So doing, we bled ourselves, distracted ourselves, exhausted ourselves and sundered ourselves, until half the country was echoing George McGovern's 1972 campaign slogan: "Come home, America."
Is It Too Much to Ask Congressmen to Stop Day Trading?
- By Neil Patel
It's hard to find a national issue with bipartisan 75% support (and only 5% opposition). Those are the numbers of Americans who want to restrict congressional members from trading stock. It's not surprising that Congress still hasn't acted; a lot of members want to keep making money stock trading while in office. A competent congressional leadership would push this issue, but it's not clear we have that today.
There is a growing sentiment in America that those in power are playing by a different set of rules. Politicians flouting their own COVID-19 restrictions have exacerbated this long-running trend.
The Pew Research Center has been measuring trust in government for 70 years. During that period, trust peaked at 77% in 1964 under President Lyndon Johnson. Besides a couple blips during the first Iraq War and right after 9/11, trust in government has been on a continual decline ever since. Today? Only 24% trust the federal government.
Leaked Executive Order Will Depress Police Force
- By Eagle Forum
While Joe Biden was campaigning for the presidency, Black Lives Matter riots and protests were breaking out across the nation. Liberals were advocating to defund the police as cities were burning. Biden seemed to champion the left’s takedown of law and order by promising to create a national police oversight commission within his first one hundred days as president. After assuming that role, those days came and went without action. Now, Biden has positioned himself on the other side of the fence painting himself as pro-police.
Lawmakers Secretly Nominate Ex-Legislator for Judge's Seat
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
As expected, the Horry County legislative delegation last week nominated former House member Alan Clemmons as the county’s master-in-equity judge.
But House and Senate members who make up the delegation didn’t nominate Clemmons – who had been a longtime delegation member – during a public meeting in Horry County as initially scheduled. Instead, they did it secretly while in session in Columbia, with most of them signing a circulated letter that was sent to Gov. Henry McMaster, who will decide whether to appoint Clemmons to the six-year, six-figure seat.
Clemmons’ predecessor made $188,873 annually.
