It's a battle, Pastor Mike McClure said, that he "never wanted to be in." But it's a battle that God called him to fight -- and he knows it. Keeping his church open hasn't been easy, but then being obedient in the face of controversy usually isn't. Still, Pastor Mike pointed out, it's amazing when you do what's right how "the Lord just shows up." And late Friday, He wasn't the only one. The Supreme Court decided to weigh in too -- and the Christians of Santa Clara County couldn't be happier.
Is Biden Reenlisting in the Forever Wars?
- By Pat Buchanan
Thursday, in its first military action, the Biden Pentagon sent two U.S. F-15Es to strike targets of Kataib Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed Iraqi militia just inside the eastern border of Syria.
The U.S. strikes were in retaliation for a missile attack on a U.S. base in Irbil, capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, which killed a contractor and wounded a U.S. soldier.
"We're confident that the target was being used by the same Shia militia that conducted the strikes," said Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

America’s Transformed Electorate
- By Mike Scruggs
Twenty Years of Liberal Dominated Immigration Policy
In August 2001, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) published a study by James G Gimpel and Karen Kaufmann of the University of Maryland that concluded:
“Current immigration policy is slowly but steadily sifting the nation’s electorate toward the Democratic Party.”
On November 13, ten days after the 2020 election, CIS published a study confirming that immigration over the last 20 years has had a dramatic effect on American politics and favored progressive Democrat politicians and policies. The study was based on the Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey from 2000 to 2020 and found that the U.S. electorate had grown 15 percent, but the number of voting age immigrants and their children had increased by 71 percent. As a share of total eligible voters, immigrants and their children increased from 14 percent to 20 percent. The most dramatic increases were predominantly in the South. North Carolina went from 4 to 12 percent, Georgia from 4 to 13 percent, Virginia from 7 to 16 percent, Texas from 14 to 25 percent, and Maryland from 12 to 23 percent.
Don't Apologize for Speaking The Truth!
- By Frank Raddish - Founder/Director Capitol Hill Independent Baptist Ministries
American freedom is under vicious attack from the Marxist political scumbags. Their main goal is to destroy our God-given Republic that is built upon our Constitution and replace it with a Marxist dictatorship. We are seeing this rapidly taking place before our very eyes. This is a cultural war we cannot afford to lose! Our forefathers greatly suffered at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and many of them died on the battlefield to give us our blood-soaked liberty. We must not take our American history for granted.
The Democrat Party Is Now “The Klan of New Bolsheviks,” And Is A Deadly Enemy Of Our Freedoms!
- By W.H. Lamb
Now why would I accuse our “old time” Democrat Party of being a ‘deadly enemy of our freedoms’? Isn’t this the same old Democrat Party of our fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers? Yes, pretty much. Isn’t this the same Democrat Party that fought AGAINST women’s right to vote from 1878 through 1919, and even opposed the Women’s Suffrage Amendment (19th) in 1920 until “Kaiser Woodrow Wilson”, as he was mockingly called by most Americans--the racist Democrat POTUS-- finally saw the handwriting on the wall and decided to bow to Republican pressure and endorse women’s suffrage? Yes, it is.

The House Will Vote This Week on the For the “Swamp” Act
- By Eagle Forum
In a blatant attempt to silence conservative votes, House Democrats have once again pushed forward H.R. 1, the For the People Act. Make no mistake, this bill is not for the American people, but rather solely for Democrats to win all future elections.
H.R. 1 is a massive federal takeover of our elections. All of the shady processes that were implemented last year, like mandatory mail-in ballots, same-day voter registration, and ballot harvesting would be placed into federal law. State regulations on showing identification to vote would be erased. Individuals would no longer be required to show an I.D. when voting, thus allowing non-citizens and even dead people to vote. This bill even has provisions that give illegal immigrants and felons a free pass to vote in our elections.

We Mean to WIN this Heritage War
- By Gene Kizer, Jr., Charleston Athenaeum Press
"The radical view of American history is a web of lies, all perspective is removed, every virtue is obscured, every motive is twisted, every fact is distorted and every flaw is magnified until the history is purged and the record is disfigured beyond all recognition." - President Donald J. Trump, Speech at Mt. Rushmore, South Dakota, July 3, 2020
There are bills before the legislature in South Carolina, and law suits raging across Georgia. The suits are all at a critical stage and those who are fighting hard for Southern honor and American history can win but desperately need us to reinforce them by calling legislators and especially giving money!

Salty Sez - Wanna Get Shot?
- By Ray Simmons
Across the country these days Coved-19 Vaccines are the big news. Some people are saying there have been problems affecting some who are taking the vaccine while others are saying it’s just what we need. Some friends of mine are getting in line to get their shots. But this vaccine is different. I’ve been around a long time and I know vaccines are not created in just a few months.
They’ve been trying to come up with a common cold vaccine for many years and haven’t got one yet, and the Coved-19 virus is kin to the common cold viruses.
Legislators Quietly Moving to Repeal Longtime Budget Law They Ignore
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
The S.C. Legislature these days is proving that the cover-up is as bad as the crime.
Not only have legislators routinely ignored a longstanding state law requiring public hearings on the entire state budget as initially proposed by the governor, they now are moving to get rid of the law itself – without debate.
A House Ways and Means subcommittee this week quickly approved, without discussion, a bill that would repeal a law requiring the House and Senate budget-writing committees (House Ways and Means, Senate Finance committees) to hold joint public hearings on the governor’s proposed state spending plan.
These Girls Are Hurt by Transgender Competition
- By Salena Zito
Alanna Smith's dedication to her sport is profound. Just listening to the elite high school track star explain her training schedule is exhausting. Yet no matter how hard she trains, if she has to compete against biological males, she stands no chance of winning.
"There is simply a biological advantage that males have over females," explained the daughter of baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Lee Smith.
"Here is a perfect example," Smith told me. "I have a twin brother who is an athlete but does not run competitively for his sports. We raced against each other recently, and he beat me. Not because he trained harder, but because there are biological and physical advantages boys have over girls in some sports."
Equality Act Just Another Step Toward Gender Ideology Adherence
- By Eagle Forum
This week, it’s a dumpster fire on Capitol Hill. While the second impeachment of President Trump was a waste of time, it had one positive: it prevented Floor movement of other bad leftist legislation.
And, this week their agenda is back on track and so is President Biden’s first 100 days to implement equity under the guise of sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI).
Trump -- Once and Future King?
- By Pat Buchanan
"I don't know if he'll run in 2024 or not. But if he does, I'm pretty sure he will win the nomination."
So says Mitt Romney, the sole Republican senator to have voted twice to convict President Donald J. Trump of impeachable acts.
But is it possible Trump could win the nomination in 2024?

The First Step in Fixing our Toxic Politics
- By Neil Patel
If we're ever going to surmount this truly toxic period in our politics, each warring faction must realize that winning is not possible without help from the other. And by faction, I don't mean Republican or Democrat. The real dividing line in our country today is not Republican and Democrat, left and right. That still exists, of course, and in certain areas, our partisan differences are still clearly defined. The true dividing line is between the corporatists in each party and the average Americans in each party -- and despite what they think, neither the corporatist side nor the populist side can succeed in the long term without support from the other.

Little-known S.C. Public Railroad Pays its Executives Well
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
It’s a railroad that most South Carolinians probably never have heard of.
The Charleston-based “Palmetto Railways” is classified as a “short line railroad,” which typically runs shorter distances and connects shippers to larger freight railroads.
Officially, Palmetto Railways, which was established in 1969, is a division of the S.C. Department of Commerce, though it has a separate website; and recent state budgets mention it only once in an obscure proviso under Commerce’s section.
Biden’s Comprehensive Immigration Bill Will Grant Amnesty to Millions
- By Eagle Forum
President Biden has already stopped construction on the border wall, opened the border to unsafe countries, reintroduced the “catch and release” program, and allowed immigrants coming over the U.S.-Mexico border to skip COVID testing. He has touted his wish list of amnesty provisions under the guise of “humanity.” Now, Congress is following suit by putting his immigration promises into law.

- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
The South Carolina Baptist Convention (SCBC) held their Converge and Immersion conferences at North Greenville University (NGU) on January 29-30. The meetings, annually held in Hilton Head, were relocated to college campuses this year because of COVID social distancing protocols.
The Immersion program helps participants discover God’s original design for the church – a community of biblical disciple-makers who make more disciple-makers. An SCBC facilitator led the majority of the Immersion experience in small group settings to teach students and faculty members how to better facilitate small groups by leading by example. On Friday, the SCBC team lead in games, one large session, and three small group sessions.

Dear Woke Asians: Stop Blaming Whitey
- By Michelle Malkin
Pssst. Can I have your attention, please? I'm going to share a little secret that liberal "people of color" and their public relations agents in the media don't want you to know. The recent crime wave against Asians in America's big cities is not the fault of Donald Trump, MAGA activists, conservative talk radio, or white people. It's the fault of the perpetrators and the perpetrators alone -- most of whom happen to be thugs "of color."
