- By Christian Newswire
MEDIA ADVISORY -- Four California Planned Parenthood affiliates have been ordered to respond to questions about their profit margin from procuring organs and tissue from aborted babies and selling them to fetal tissue procurement companies.
Three years ago, Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and several Planned Parenthood affiliates sued CMP, David Daleiden, Sandra Merritt, Albin Rhomberg, and other investigators in federal district court, asserting fifteen claims ranging from racketeering to invasion of privacy.

President Trump Did, In Fact, Get Betrayed by Congressional Republicans
- By Erick Erickson - The Resurgent
The reality is that President Trump and the Republicans held the Congress for two years and did jack about a border wall. The reality is also that Republicans in Congress kept telling the President to wait. And on two occasions they got the President to move forward in ways that got him in trouble with his own base. First was the DACA deal in February of last year and second was the end of the year deal.
SC Monuments Legislation Introduced!
- By American Heritage Association
We are pleased to report that legislation has been introduced in South Carolina to further protect our monuments from mob-rule. Representative Dwight Loftis has introduced House Bill 3632 which requires any illegally toppled monument to be put back in place. If a local government fails to put the monument back up they can be sued by local heritage organizations. Additionally it establishes mandatory minimum sentencing for those that damage our monuments.
Abortions in Pa. Down to All-Time Low, Thanks to Real Alternatives
- By Christian Newswire
Media Advisory - There is encouraging news as far as abortion goes. The number of abortions performed in Pennsylvania during 2017 was the lowest number ever recorded -- just over 30,000. It's a decrease of 870 from the prior year and way down from the all-time recorded high of nearly 66,000 in 1980.
That news was reported just last month by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. It is definitely a case of the glass being half-full or half-empty. There is still the fact that while 30,000 marks a low point, it is still 30,000 too many. So there is still work to be done.
The New State Property Tax South Carolinians Won’t See Coming
- By SC Policy Council
In 1976, voters passed a constitutional amendment amending legislators’ ability to provide for state borrowing. The ballot question was general, vaguely worded and failed to spell out what was arguably the most important part of the amendment: the creation of a new, automatic and limitless state property tax that could kick in with no warning and without debate or vote by the legislature.
The amendment mandates that the tax be imposed if the state is unable to make a payment on the debt. Unknowingly, South Carolinians voted to guarantee state debt with their property.
FBI, DOJ Leaders On Notice: Resign or Do Your Job
- By Phyllis Schlafly Eagles
St. Louis, MO: This morning the country saw news that Roger Stone, long-time Republican strategist and campaign consultant to Donald Trump, had been indicted and arrested by Special Counsel Robert Mueller's witch hunt. This is the latest in a long string of political "hits" against top Trump campaign officials. What was different today, however, is that video from Stone's arrest looked more like the capture of a drug lord or known terrorist. In a ludicrous move, Stone's home was swarmed by dozens of FBI agents and vehicles in full SWAT gear.
Big Chunk of Gas-tax-hike Money Not Going to Major Road, Bridge Repairs
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Last June, S.C. Department of Transportation commissioner Robert “Robby” Robbins questioned agency head Christy Hall whether the worst roads in the state were being fixed.
“I want a system-wide analysis of which roads are the worst, and I want money to go there first … and I don’t think we are doing that right now,” Robbins, then the commission’s vice-chairman and who was named chairman last week, said during the commission meeting.

Homosexuality - Bible Scholars and Professing Christian Churches
- By Jim S. Brooks
The contents of this letter are addressed mainly to professing Christian Churches. Many “Christian” professing churches are leading people astray through the teachings of “Bible Scholars” and other false teachers who actually directly dispute many simply stated Biblical truths. They have many arguments, all wrong, but pleasing to a sin seeking mind! They produce inconsistencies and doubt about Biblical truths because the human mind naturally resists God’s Word and tries to justify itself with man’s word. The key to understanding the Bible is the Spirit of God, not the spirit of man. Mankind could not begin to understand the Old Testament until the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the gift of God’s Spirit made available through Him alone. Even the Apostle’s could not grasp Jesus’ teaching until Jesus’ resurrection and gift of the Holy Spirit!
Trump and His Supporters Are in This Fight for the Long Haul
- By David Limbaugh
I couldn't care less about the State of the Union address, and I'm hardly panicking about the government shutdown, but I care a great deal that Democrats and the liberal media continue to treat President Trump like a dog, with utter impunity.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi disinvited Trump to deliver the address in the Capitol, falsely citing security concerns when everyone knows she was just joyfully sticking her thumb in his eye and trying to humiliate him.
Trump has decided to postpone the speech until the partial shutdown is resolved, presumably because he believes it's important that it be delivered in the House chamber with the customary pageantry and full media coverage. This is unfortunate, but we can't make every mountain a hill to die on.
Confession and Apology
- By Erick Erickson
I have a confession and an apology, both of which I should make publicly. For the past two years, I have routinely defended the press from President Trump’s ongoing barrage of criticism. Having worked at both CNN and Fox News as well as having friends at scores of media companies, I know the good work and hard work so many reporters do to provide us with the news. We have a President who found a way out of going to Vietnam, and we have reporters who rush into war zones, risking their lives to provide accurate and truthful coverage of dangerous events.
Empire State of Death
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
It should have been blood red, like a warning. Crimson, like a siren -- or STOP. Instead, the spire of New York's One World Trade Center was lit up in it's-a-girl pink, a 408-foot reminder that the law it celebrated will mean fewer daughters, fewer mothers, fewer chances. From miles away on Wednesday night, people could see the tower flashing in the dark sky, announcing the arrival of a new evil in the war against America's children.

The President Agrees to Delay the State of the Union. Now He Must Win the Shutdown Fight
- By Erick Erickson - The Resurgent
With Nancy Pelosi telling the President he is not welcome on the House floor to give the State of the Union while the government is partially closed, President Trump originally suggested he would go elsewhere.
But now President Trump is announcing he will postpone the State of the Union address until the government reopens.

Reading between the Maligns
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Under normal circumstances, the kids at Covington Catholic would be cheering the extra day off. But yesterday's decision to cancel classes was not a moment anyone celebrated. It was a reminder that no one in the tight-knit community is safe. Least of all the children.
Four days after Covington students clashed with a man by the Lincoln Memorial, police cars are still staked out across the high school. The parking lot is closed, and officers have fanned out everywhere just in case one of the hundreds of threats pouring into the school materializes. The Left's rush to judgment about a group of teenagers in MAGA hats at the March for Life means that basketball games have been postponed. Clothes with Covington colors are too dangerous to wear. And life for some of these teenagers may never be the same.

SC Lawmakers Likely to Fill PSC Seat with One of Two Insiders
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
After nearly a year and a half of delays, state lawmakers are poised to fill a $107,822 Public Service Commission seat with either an incumbent who voted for electric rate hikes for the failed V.C. Summer nuclear project, or a former longtime commission staffer.
Meanwhile, two rejected candidates for the congressional District 2 seat, which covers all of Lexington, Aiken and Barnwell counties, and parts of Richland and Orangeburg counties, are questioning why a legislatively controlled committee, called the State Regulation of Public Utilities Review Committee (PURC), voted to find them “not qualified.”
Democrats' America: The Heart of Darkness
- By Pat Buchanan
If it was the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that black and white would come together in friendship and peace to do justice, his acolytes in today's Democratic Party appear to have missed that part of his message.
Here is Hakeem Jeffries, fourth-ranked Democrat in Nancy Pelosi's House, speaking Monday, on the holiday set aside to honor King:
"We have a hater in the White House. The birther in chief. The grand wizard of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. ... While Jim Crow may be dead, he's still got some nieces and nephews that are alive and well."
