2018 to be Held at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, SC
GREENVILLE, SC - - Today, the Piedmont Women’s Center (PWC) announced its fifth annual 5K Race for Life to be held October 6, 2018. The 2018 Race for Life will take place at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest. The race activities will include a one-mile “Fun Run” at 8:00am for children 12 and under with the annual 5K run/walk beginning at 9:00am for adults. Proceeds from the race will benefit PWC’s medical program and other ministry resources. There will be food trucks and fun activities for the whole family.
“Our Race for Life is one of Piedmont Women’s Center’s largest annual fundraisers.” said Lenna Smith, CEO of PWC. “All of our services are confidential and free of charge. We provide free lab-quality pregnancy testing, free pregnancy consultations, and free limited OB ultrasounds at two locations in the Upstate. Our caring, professional personnel are committed to understanding and meeting the pregnancy related needs of our clients.”
