Saturday, March 2, 2019, Greenville Technical Charter High School Charter Champions Benefit Bash from 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

GREENVILLE - On Saturday March 2, 2019, the community is invited to join Greenville Technical Charter High School(GTCHS) in honoring our school’s visionary, and immediate past president of Greenville Technical College, Dr. Thomas E. Barton, Jr.  with special recognition. The Honorable Chandra Dillard, SC House of Representatives and Jody Bryson, President & CEO of South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center (SCTAC) will also be named Charter Champions.

As Rita Pierson says, “Every child deserves a Champion.”  Community leaders who believe in the power of school choice, who are committed to ensuring that every child has a quality option for free, public education and who are persistent in their efforts to improve the outcomes for our children are named Charter Champions.

GTCHS, the vision of Dr. Thomas E. Barton, Jr. is the first charter school in the state of South Carolina and the first in the nation to receive the prestigious Blue Ribbon designation as well as South Carolina’s Palmetto’s Finest.  GTCHS is grateful for our champions the vital role they play in promoting strong legislation, providing financial contributions, and leading innovative practices for the students we serve. 

Tickets to the Charter Champions Benefit Bash  are $65.00 per person or $120 per couple are available online at www.gtchsdevelopment.org or purchased at the door.
