Truckers to Make a Stand on the Hill: What to Expect When You Step Foot Into Washington D.C.
- By Alexander Reyes - Right Wire Report
As the battle for freedom between Truckers and officials marches on for our neighbors in Canada, Truckers in the United States are creating their own convoy to head to our nation's capital to peacefully redress their government. This convoy will include many of who are also ready to stand against the mandates. What this means for corrupted politicians is an attempt to use their power to silence the majority by any means necessary, which we are already seeing done to our freedom-loving neighbors in the North. Therefore, it would be wise to have a look at the many scare tactics the swamp will try to use in an attempt to divide The Truckers in March.

Black History and the American Dream
- By Alveda C. King
Black History is intricately interwoven into the American Dream. As patriots, co-designers, and guardians of our Nation, we must know, remember and share our history; for the present and for generations to come.
Every February, America acknowledges Black History Month. Consequently, a recurring debate emerges, the question being, "Why do we need to set aside this calendar occurrence?" My America First Policy Institute colleague Ken Blackwell gives a pertinent response: Black history is American history.
Meanwhile, today American life faces an ongoing, challenging, yet not insurmountable reality; purveyors of division constantly weaponize a false racial premise by equating racial identification to skin color, all in a cynical effort to divide our communities.

To Politicians: We Don't Need Your Help Making Good Decisions
- By Veronique de Rugy
Does anyone truly believe that our government -- which consistently creates monopoly privileges for companies with its own cronyism -- can be trusted to ensure that private markets remain competitive? Apparently so. Consider the resurgence of antitrust efforts against "Big Tech." If history is our guide, going after disfavored companies will result in less competition, not more, along with fewer choices and higher prices for you and me.
Take the American Innovation and Choice Online Act recently approved by a Senate panel. This bill would block a handful of tech companies like Amazon and Apple from favoring their own products and services over those of competitors who also use these platforms. For instance, independent merchants who sell on Amazon claim to be punished if they sell their products for less on their own websites or on other sites like Walmart's or Target's.

How 'We' Obscure the Truth About Policy
- By Veronique de Rugy
"The most dangerous pronoun discourse has nothing to do with gender identity. It's the undefined 'we' in public policy debates that's the problem." These are the words of Richard Morrison, a research fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Morrison identified "the fallacy of we," and I'm often guilty of committing it.
I frequently say things like, "If we increase spending on this or that, it will cause some economic distortions." Who exactly is this "we"? Certainly not me or most of you. Politicians propose and vote for additional spending, and the president signs new spending bills into law.

A Resolution for the Biden Administration
- By Veronique de Rugy
The new year often feels like an opportunity to correct past mistakes -- for example, improving one's diet or quitting smoking. This explains why 25% of Americans, and 40% of those under 30, make New Year's resolutions. Based on the latest poll from The Economist and YouGov, the Biden administration should adopt a New Year's resolution too. In particular, it should reconsider its domestic policy agenda. Americans aren't buying it.
YouGov is an influential international research data and analytics group headquartered in London. Pollsters asked 1,500 American adults about the state of the economy, the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation and more. Their findings show that people aren't particularly happy right now.

A Call To Fight Rising Authoritarianism, in 2022 and Beyond
- By Veronique de Rugy
At the eve of a new year, it's traditional to make a resolution or two. I have no such list for myself or others, but I do have a wish. For 2022 and beyond, I wish that all of us who still cherish liberal values will band together to oppose the worrisome rise of authoritarianism around the world.
For decades, those inclined toward free markets have focused on authoritarianism coming from the political left. We have spared no energy denouncing and opposing it. We've rightfully been concerned about the push to centralize more power in the hands of federal governments and to increase the scope and size of all government. We have warned that these policies, pursued consistently, pave what the great F.A. Hayek called "the road to serfdom."

Jesus – Christmas
- By Jim S. Brooks - Roebuck, SC
Sometime during a winter season in the insignificant, ancient Roman Province of Judea-over two thousand years ago-God the Father, in love, chose to send His Word and Spirit into the material world He had created and to reveal Himself in the human flesh of a fully human man who was named by His earthly mother Jesus. That incarnation and its benefits are beyond the mental grasp of any of the seed (mankind) of Adam! The incarnation had many purposes and among them were: (1) to fulfill God's ancient Promise to Israel (to send The Long Promised Anointed One) born of the “seed of a woman” through the line of Abraham and David (Jesus was a human descendent of Eve-not of Adam! Genesis 3-14.)
