The Museum and Library of Confederate History Each Friday
The 16th Regiment, Camp 36, Sons of Confederate Veterans Museum and Library of Confederate History presents Christmas in Dixie, December 2009 each Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. through December 18th at 15 Boyce Ave. in Greenville, South Carolina.
The program begins each evening with a program for children, followed by a musical program including the museum’s 1840s vintage melodeon and special guest musicians.
The event is free and open to the public and light refreshments are served in the library.
And while you are there, visit the museum gift shop where you will find unusual gifts for all members of the family.
This is the perfect opportunity to spend a relaxing, entertaining and educational Friday evening without spending a thin dime, that is unless you want to drop something in the donation box.
