Voters Angry and Threatening Reprisals for those Who Vote for Fast Track Authority for Obama

An odd combination of liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans handed President Obama and the Republican leadership a stunning defeat when they defeated TAA, the Trade Adjustment Assistance by an overwhelming vote of 302 to 126. The House narrowly passed TPA, the Trade Promotion Authority by a vote of 219 to 211. House Speaker Bayner promised to attempt to get enough Democrat and Republican votes to pass the TAA by Tuesday, June 16.

The Obama Administration is employing the same tactics they used to pass Obamacare through the Congress. There is no time to read the proposed legislation. In fact much of it is secret and out of sight of members of Congress. The big difference is that Obamacare was passed by a Lame Duck Democrat Congress. This Obamatrade legislation has pulled in the Republican Congressional leadership.

As members of Congress feud and constituents back home fume, Dr. Jerome R. Corsi speculates that the significance of passing Obamatrade on Friday, June 12 was a 100th birthday present to David Rockefeller, America’s top “Globalist.”  David is the son of Globalist John D. Rockefeller, Jr., and grandson of the founder of Standard Oil.

David Rockefeller has been a major figure in some of the most prominent organizations considered by many to be a threat to U. S. sovereignty. They include the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bildeberg Group and the Trilateral Commission.

Corsi also noted that former President George H. W. Bush was 91 on Friday and he also has been labeled by some as a proud internationalist. Bush earned the title when he announced in the wake of the fall of the Soviet Union, the emergence of a “New World Order.”

WND reported that opponents of Obamatrade consider the legislation “a surrender of U. S. sovereignty to a new international authority.”

On June 11th 34 House Republicans displayed an extraordinary amount of political courage by voting to deny Speaker Boehner the ability to bring fast track trade authority to the floor of the House. If Boehner had not succeeded in lobbying 8 Democrats to pull his bacon out of the fire, fast track would now be dead. Tomorrow, there will be significantly more Republicans voting against fast track as concerns about President Obama's surrender of U.S. sovereignty through the Trans-Pacific Partnership becomes fully evident. For those 34 Republicans who took a stand, today's action deserves universal praise from freedom loving Americans nationwide. They listened to their constituents."

34 House Republicans who voted no to bring fast track to the floor, June 11, 2015.
