Tips on Discussing the Disrespect for Marriage Act
- By Eagle Forum
As we look forward to our Holiday dinners this week, some of us may be thankful if one topic doesn’t come up: politics. If it does, there is a feast of issues that could be discussed but one is on the front burner in Congress. The Respect for Marriage Act “RMFA” (HR. 8404) will be served as the main course in the Senate next week. If you have friends or relatives whose mouths are watering for passage of this bill and can’t help but say something, you can be prepared with a rebuttal.
Can Republicans Make Congress Great Again?
- By Stephen Moore
There's no sugarcoating the disappointing results of the midterm elections.
Even with one of the worst-performing presidents in modern times, Joe Biden, and even with 2 out of 3 voters saying the country is headed in the wrong direction, Republicans couldn't make the sale to independent voters.
But the overall dismal number of House seats captured by Republicans wasn't as bad as the overall national vote count. Out of roughly 100 million ballots cast for House races, the Republicans won 51%, and the Democrats won 47%. Overall, more than 4 million more voters chose a Republican for Congress over a Democrat.

You know, Sierra Club, The Nature Conservancy[1], Greenpeace, National Wildlife Federation, Audubon Society, Natural Resource Defense Council, EarthFirst!, Sea Shepherd Society, Wilderness Society, Humane Society of the United States, People for the ethical Treatment of Animals, Smithsonian Institution, Union of Concerned Scientists, World Resources Institute, Friends of the Earth, and too many more.
The GOP's Hunter Biden Probe Is Legit
- By David Harsanyi
As a tactical concern, the House GOP's decision to open an investigation into Biden family corruption is questionable. It promises limited political return. It would serve Republicans, and the country, far better if the House focused on a hyper-politicized Justice Department that targets the political opposition, labels concerned parents "domestic terrorists" and ignores violence aimed at pregnancy centers, for starters.

Is ISLAM compatible with the US Constitution?
- By Catching Fire News
Islam is a complete way of life according to Muslim teachings.
The Sunnah is a Muslim’s guide; Allah is their god; and Sharia is their law. No laws shall reign superior over Sharia law – even the US Constitution.
The teaching of Islam instructs the Muslims to be steadfast and patient until the upper house is fulfilled. It is then America will submit to Islam and the Sharia. Quran 47:35. Learn more in Ron Branstner's first episode with Catching Fire News.
Traumatic Executions vs. Therapeutic Abortions
- By Tim Graham
When National Public Radio appeals for donations, it explains its mission is "to create a more informed public -- one challenged and invigorated by a deeper understanding and appreciation of events, ideas and cultures."
That's fancy talk for one-sided propaganda. NPR listeners aren't "challenged and invigorated" by two sides of a controversial issue. They're pushed to a "deeper understanding" of how conservatives are dead wrong ... subsidized by taxpayers.

VoterGA Identifies 2022 Election Anomalies, Cites Audit Flaws, Sues to Preserve Ballots After Ballot Image Destruction
- By VoterGA
ATLANTA -- VoterGA revealed serious anomalies in the recent 2022 Georgia General Election. A sworn affidavit corroborated by the Edison media line feed show that over 20,000 votes were inexplicably subtracted from the vote totals of U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker. In addition, poll books in three counties mysteriously added hundreds more voters who voted than the number of votes cast by the machines.
VoterGA explained flaws in the recently completed 2022 Risk Limiting Audit (RLA). Dr. Phillip Stark, inventor of the RLA process, previously wrote to Georgia officials to explain that a RLA cannot meaningfully audit a Georgia election because they are conducted on Ballot Marking Devices (BMD). BMDs cannot produce a voter created source document to be used for an audit and the RLA process has no means to audit the accuracy of the BMD.
Disney Sacks CEO to Hire 'The Walking Embodiment of Woke Capital'
- By Suzanne Bowdey - The Washington Stand
When Disney CEO Bob Chapek sent a memo to senior leaders Friday explaining that the company was “going to have to make tough and uncomfortable decisions,” he had no idea just how uncomfortable they were about to become. Less than two days later, the ax fell in his own office, ending one of the most tumultuous chapters in Disney history. Chapek, who’d been a polarizing figure from the get-go, was out — and no one was more surprised than him.
The announcement came late Sunday night, rocking the Magic Kingdom where Chapek had spent 29 years of his career. For anyone tracking the Disney drama, the news came as a shock — especially since Chapek had just signed a multi-year contract extension in June. Not long after, Disney’s stocks started to crash to their lowest level in nine years, raising new concerns about the company’s leadership. “It is almost unheard-of for Disney to miss expectations on both revenue and earnings per share,” The New York Times noted.
Little Girls Are Made of Sugar And Spice – Little Boys Are Made of Frogs and Snails and Puppy-dogs’ Tails
- By Kathleen Marquardt - American Policy Center
Not so long ago, maybe a decade, the Overton Window was a relevant measure of what was acceptable in America. Not today. Today it is just another tool in the arsenal of Cancel Culture.
The Overton Window is a model for understanding how ideas in society change over time and influence politics. The core concept is that politicians are limited in what policy ideas they can support — they generally only pursue policies that are widely accepted throughout society as legitimate policy options. These policies lie inside the Overton Window. Other policy ideas exist, but politicians risk losing popular support if they champion these ideas. These policies lie outside the Overton Window. [2]

Ninth Circuit Rules Election Integrity Project®California has Standing to Challenge Constitutionality of California's Election Laws, Regulations and Procedures
- By Advocates for Faith & Freedom
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. -- The Ninth Circuit has ruled that Election Integrity Project®California (EIPCa) and recent and future congressional candidates have standing to challenge the Constitutionality of California's election laws, regulations, policies and procedures that have weakened or removed integrity from the election process. Though the Constitution gives authority to state legislators to pass laws to manage elections and process ballots, EIPCa asserts they do not have carte blanche authority to pass laws that diminish the value of lawfully cast ballots.

Does the Bible Teach a Flat Earth?
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
In recent years there have been claims that the Bible teaches a Flat Earth. There are even modern-day flat earthers who pushed this claim as support for their flat Earth of claims. You have probably heard that Columbus proved that the Earth was round and that he was opposed in his voyage but Bible-believing Christians who thought the earth was flat based on the Bible. However, none of these claims are actually true neither does the Bible teach Flat Earth. On the contrary, you can actually use the Bible to support a spherical rotating earth.
Black Youth Want Freedom
- By Star Parker
Among the key headlines from the 2022 election were gains by Republicans among minority voters.
According to the AP VoteCast survey, Republican House candidates got 14% of the Black vote, almost twice the 8% of the Black vote that Republicans captured in 2020 and 2018.
The difference between the percentage of Black votes that Democrats got compared to Republicans was 68 points, compared to a difference of 83 points in the 2020 election and 82 points in 2018.

After 2022 Setback, GOP Race for 2024 Is Wide Open
- By Josh Hammer
The 2022 midterm elections were, by any objective measure, tremendously disappointing for Republicans. As has already been discussed ad nauseam, the "red wave" that so many -- yours truly included -- had predicted simply did not materialize. The reasons for that are numerous; no one individual, one institution or one specific systemic failure is to blame. There is, in short, a lot of blame to go around here. Because while Republicans actually (SET ITAL) won (END ITAL) the national popular vote by roughly four points, there is no way to describe their historically awful first-presidential-term opposition-party midterm performance, in which the GOP lost almost every high-profile state-level "swing" race, as anything other than disastrous.

Promoting SARS-CoV-2 genetic vaccination in Pregnancy is an unprecedented ethical breach
Dr. Thorp, the author of this essay, reached out to me yesterday with an apology. The version he had sent me for publication was actually a draft (his mistake). He asked if I could insert the final version in lieu of what he had sent me. When I reviewed the document, I soon realized that the newer version had a lot more data - including a series of graphs and tables as well as more references. It is almost twice as long as the original. This version is richly populated with more facts and statistics, although the conclusions remain the same. Therefore, rather than just editing the article, I have decided to republish it.

Putin's 'Winter War' on Ukraine
- By Pat Buchanan
Winter has often proven an indispensable ally of Mother Russia.
The impending winter of 1812-13 forced Napoleon's withdrawal from Moscow, a retreat from which his Grande Armee never recovered.
The winter of 1941-42 sealed the ultimate fate of the invading armies of Adolf Hitler's Third Reich.
Vladimir Putin's new strategy in the war he launched on Ukraine in February is to conscript the coming winter of 2022-23 as an ally of his failing army.

Sen. Lee on Marriage Bill: 'There's Still Time... We Can Stop This Thing'
- By Suzanne Bowdey - The Washington Stand
If you’re waiting for the Georgia runoff to decide what the Republicans’ margins are, don’t bother. Thanks to Wednesday’s marriage vote, we know exactly where the lines are drawn. Heading into this week, a lot of people said that America was about to find out what the Senate GOP is made of. Now we know. Republicans may be down one seat in the Senate, but they’re 12 short where it matters — on principle.
“A conservative who will not courageously defend marriage … is no conservative at all,” Dr. Albert Mohler warned before the party took a vote that broke every confidence its base had. To the grassroots, marriage, like life, should be non-negotiable. And for 37 brave men and women, it was. For 12 others, it was a clear sign that this new chapter of GOP fearlessness does not include them.
Casualties and Propaganda in the Russia-Ukraine War
- By Mike Scruggs
Truth is the First Casualty of War
In 1918, during World War I, California Republican Senator Hiram Johnson remarked that “The first casualty, when war comes, is truth.” A similar statement was made in the British Parliament early in the war by MP Philip Snowden, probably in 1915 : “Truth, it has been said, is the first casualty of war.” This was published in a 1916 book, Truth and the War, by E. D. Morel. Senator Johnson, having a high interest in avoiding war, would probably have read this book and may also have been influenced by the scholarly British writer, Samuel Johnson, who in 1758 wrote:
“Among the calamities of War may be justly numbered the diminution of the love of truth, by falsehood which interest dictates and credulity encourages.”
In her 1809, Memoirs of an American Lady, Anne MacVicar Grant wrote:
“Truth is the first victim to fear and policy; when matters arrive at that crisis…all the kindred virtues drop in succession.”
A like quote is sometimes attributed to the Greek tragedian and soldier, Aeschylus (526 BC-456 BC): “In war, truth is the first casualty.” But an Aeschylus play may also have expressed, “God is not averse to deceit in a just cause,” which has helped sow the poisonous seeds of much evil propaganda.
