Tigerville, SC - Autumn McAbee, Miss North Greenville University 2009, passed her crown to Leah Ann Gravely, of Pickens, at the 55th Miss NGU Pageant on Saturday, October 3 in Turner Chapel.

Gravely won a $1,000 scholarship and will compete this summer in the Miss South Carolina Pageant.

First runner-up Lauren Dorrity of Greenville won the lifestyle and fitness award.

NGU President Dr. Jimmy Epting with Miss NGU 2010 Leah Ann Gravely.Lindsey Chambers of Pelzer was second runner-up and won the interview section of the competition.

Christina Grace Bryson of Greenville was named third runner-up and won the artistic expression award and Meredith Limbaugh of Fort Mill placed fourth.

Contestants were judged according to an interview, physical fitness (swimsuit), onstage questions, artistic expression (talent) and presence and poise.. The interview (25 percent of the final score) and physical fitness (15 percent) portions of the competition were completed prior to the pageant ceremony.
