South Carolina S965 vs. S975
- By Greenville Patriot Caucus
The Senate Medical Affairs Committee is set to hear two bills regarding Medical Freedom this month. S965 is a bad bill and is being fast tracked over the better bill, S975. S965 is scheduled to be heard in Committee this Thursday March 7th, so please act to this CTA before Thursday morning.
S965 is a bad bill for the following reasons:
- Allows private employers to fire unvaccinated employees and removes a lawyer’s chances of litigating on behalf of a person wrongfully discharged because of their vaccination status.
- Provides meager unemployment benefits through federal COVID-19 relief tax dollars.
- Establishes and funds weekly discriminatory COVID-19 testing based on vaccination status.
- Does nothing to reduce "public health emergency" powers.

Socialism is the Most Important Issue in America Today!
- By John Porter - Harrison, Arkansas
I write about the evils of Socialism so much, I have been asked by many people around the country if I would write a definition of Socialism, its inherent evils and the effects it would have upon us as individuals. The following is my attempt at answering that request. For certain, it would be a death blow to capitalism as well as to the God-given freedoms which we have enjoyed for so long in the United States.
Our country’s economic system is called capitalism. It is based upon private ownership of property, which includes the means of production for the creation of goods or services for income and profit by individuals. It is a free market economic system based on the recognition of individual rights to own property (lands, businesses, goods, etc.). Such rights give individuals security and a means to control their own affairs, thus their own destiny. Under capitalism, private citizens, with their ownership of property, are responsible for the production and distribution of goods.

Congress Has Agreed on the first Six Permanent Appropriation Bills for Fiscal Year 2024
- By The John Birch Society
Congress has agreed on the first six permanent appropriations bills for fiscal 2024. These bills amount to 1,050 pages, $450 billion in spending, and would fund the Departments of Agriculture, Interior, Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, Veterans Affairs, Justice, Commerce, and Energy. These bills utterly fail to reduce spending, at a time when the national debt is rising by $1 trillion every 100 days. Furthermore, all of the departments listed above are unconstitutional, as is the vast majority of this spending.

Congress is Pick-Pocketing Americans
- By Eagle Forum
Congress can’t seem to shake its spending problem. On Wednesday, the House passed six out of twelve spending bills, packaged into one bill called a “minibus,” to the tune of over $450 billion. That is $70 billion over the caps established by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) earlier this year and $30 billion more than former Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) 2023 levels. Keep in mind, the total national debt is $34.5 trillion and the federal deficit for this fiscal year is already $531 billion – meaning the government has already spent over half a trillion dollars more than they have brought in through taxes!

The Future of Golf: Finding the Perfect Fit, Even for Imperfect Swings
- By Club Champion
Global fitting success, Club Champion, brings data to the game
Willowbrook, IL – Prior to the COVID pandemic, the “golf is dead” narrative had been prevalent for years. Participation, viewership, and sales of equipment — there was a perceived decline in every category. But recent trends and post-COVID success tell a different story for one golf industry player.
Club Champion, an internationally acclaimed custom golf club fitter, is not only surviving — they’re thriving. In 2015, the company had just eight locations. Today, there are more than 125 fitting studios across the globe, including a location in Asheville at 27 Schenk Parkway. In a world where brick and mortar retail models are crumbling, how are they scaling so successfully?

Why is Greenville County Council Pickpocketing Us Again?
- By Michelle Shuman - Greenville County
That is the estimated multi-billion-dollar question that remains to be answered. For review our County Council has for many years budgeted approximately $12 million a year for the roads program. This is in addition to the public works and engineering departments. However, they have for years only been using a portion of that money each year for actual road repair. Instead, they take portions to pay down debt, buy equipment, and do other “road related” items. (At the March 4, 2024. Committee of the Whole meeting, Chairman Tripp once again tried to make everyone believe the County is spending the full $12 million on roads. Once again, he shows us he hasn’t read this year’s budget or any other budget. This year the amount is only $11 million, and they are only actually going to spend 55% of the $11 million on fixing roads.)
