Senator Rand Paul's filibuster for about thirteen hours was to draw attention to the possibility that an ever encroaching federal government could use drones against its own people. A few years ago the Department of Homeland Security sent out a memo to police agencies across the country labeling those who are strongly against abortion as right wing terrorists. This certainly included Bible believing Christians who are opposed to abortion and same-sex marriage. It is not unthinkable that the abuse of power by a President of this country could result in using drones against American citizens that are considered enemies of the state because of their political activism. Ask the Chinese and Russian peoples about such a possibility like this happening. I disagree with Senator Paul on a few issues, but he is a sincere individual who is not a “yes” man for the Rino establishment in Washington, D.C.
Senator Paul's filibuster irritated the Rino duo of John McCain and Lindsey Graham. Graham recently threatened that he would filibuster John Brennan's nomination as CIA Director. Graham's rhetoric about using a filibuster was only a political puff of smoke with no substance. He is playing politics with the drone issue because of his upcoming election in 2014. McCain called Paul an alarmist for calling attention to the possible use of drones against American citizens. Paul has disturbed "Big Daddy McCain" because he will not ask his permission for what he can or cannot do to please the Rinos on Capitol Hill. One thing is for sure and that is McCain and Graham need to be alarmed about the millions of illegal immigrants which include drug runners and terrorists that have and are still coming across our border with Mexico. The Washington Rino establishment is worried about Paul's presidential aspiration because it may have already chosen its man to campaign for the 2016 Republican Presidential Primary. There were other Republican Conservatives that spoke during the filibuster and that included Senators Mike Lee of Utah, Ted Cruz of Texas and Jerry Moran of Kansas.
The question before Congress is when, where, and on what targets should drones be used. America must use all of its available resources to defeat worldwide terrorism. This includes using drones to kill foreign terrorists on the battlefields. America cannot allow the terrorists to kill, maim, and to continue to blackmail our country into submission to their demands. Likewise we must not support using drones to kill American citizens within our country. Captured foreign terrorists must not be afforded U.S. Constitutional rights. The recent capture of a son-in-law of Bin Laden should not be charged and tried in an American court of law. This individual has no rights under our Constitution and he should be tried by a military tribunal. This terrorist has been involved in the planning and executing of attacks upon American citizens. This man is an enemy of the United States of America and must be dealt with as such.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration in five years there will be about 7,500 small drones that will be operated on a commercial basis. This number does not include the number of drones that will be used by public agencies such as police departments. "Big Brother" may always be watching through the use of drones. As drone use increases in our country so will the issues concerning privacy, safety, and regulation.

The Bible says in II Corinthians 7:1, "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (King James Bible)
