Civil Rights Leaders Day Gardner and Evangelist Alveda King Address Controversy Surrounding Students from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- The following statements are made by Day Gardner, President of National Black Pro-Life Union and Evangelist Alveda King:
Day Gardner:
Is this where we are right now? Has it really come down to what hat you happen to be wearing on any given day to determination if you are racist or not?
Recently, a group of high school students from Kentucky wearing Make America Great Again hats were demonized by the media who after viewing a short video clip stated the students were harassing a Native American. Adults including Elizabeth Warren, Billy Crystal, Shaun King chimed in with rants about those 'racist MAGA hat wearing students.'

Evangelist Alveda King: Today is My Birthday
- By Alveda King
Yesterday we celebrated MLK's birthday. Several candidates announced a presidential bid yesterday. Most if not all of those candidates are pro-abortion. Today is my birthday.
Today is also the anniversary of the horribly bad Roe v. Wade legislation which become law in 1973.
I'm not marching for life today. We did that last Saturday at the annual March for Life where I was blessed to do the closing prayer. However, I am praying; and blogging.

Misinformed Virtue Signaling Gone Too Far
On Sunday, January 11, on the popular Sunday TV show “Face the Nation,” House Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy took the opportunity to condemn the remarks made by Republican Representative Steve King in a New York Times interview on January 10, in which King questioned the appropriateness of condemning the use of the terms “white supremacy” and “white nationalist.”
The New York Times article entitled '"Before Trump, Steve King set the agenda for the wall and anti-immigrant politics” contained this quote from King:

None of Their Business

With the advent of social media, we are all encouraged to share every moment of our lives online with our friends. What we’re doing, what we’re feeling, what we’re eating, where we are, who we’re with, what we think about certain issues—this is the standard content of posts on social media. Sometimes, however, in the enjoyment of communicating our daily lives, we forget that occasionally people we don’t know very well are reading what we post. Depending on where we post (say, in a homeschool Facebook group), we may even be sharing with strangers.

Does America Need a Collegial Nice Guy, or a Hard Nosed Leader?
- By W.H. Lamb
For about two years, our “ship of State”, the U.S.S. American Nation, has been captained by President Donald Trump. During this two year “voyage” our nation has seen what many of its “passengers” perceive to be major improvements in real wages, in jobs, and in reduced levels of federal “rules and regulations” that were strangling our economy under our previous “pseudo-Captain”. We’ve seen confidence among our people increase as patriotism has increased under our Republican, populist, and nominally conservative President Trump. We’ve seen our stalwart ‘captain’ try hard to “Make America Great Again” by strengthening our military, revising various trade treaties with other nations (a few of which are actually friends with us), and cajoling our sometimes reluctant “allies” to shoulder their fair share of the burdens of protecting and maintaining freedom in a threatening world composed of governments that don’t view freedom in the same light as do Americans.

The KKK, Black Genocide and Abortion - They Are All Connected Says Day Gardner, President of National Black Pro-Life Union
- By Day Gardner, President of National Black Pro-Life Union
In 1865, the Civil War ended and the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution officially abolished slavery. That same year, a group of Democrat ex-Confederate soldiers formed the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). They were domestic terrorists that sought to overthrow the Republican state governments in the South during the Reconstruction Era by using violence and intimidation against freed former slaves and their white supporters. They prevented African-Americans from voting, getting an education, competing for jobs, or owning property.

They’re Going After Your Guns, Again! What Did Your Forefathers Teach You to Do? It’s Time to Resist!

“When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty.” -President Thomas Jefferson
Do you remember in elementary school or in high school when there were mean and unruly kids who were constantly bullying students into submission because they did not go along with them and their rebellious ways? Everyone knew that these bullies were wrong, and yet, within themselves, they were always anticipating when that bully was going to get his (Psalm 94:16). Of course, for some reason or another, that bully getting his was not going to be from their hands.
