Battle for the Soul of the Party

Word coming from the campaign of former Mass. Governor Mitt Romney indicates that the leading Republican candidate for President of the United States who has been running for half a dozen years will not attack his opponent in a personal manner and will deal only with policy differences. This sounds a lot like Sen. John McCain. How did it work for him? Mr. Romney would be better served if he would just tell the truth and be honest about who Barack Obama is and what he is intentionally doing to systematically destroy the American free enterprise system and our sovereignty as a free people ruled by law and not by man.
The Real Thanksgiving

The thanksgiving image implanted in the minds of most Americans as children is one of Pilgrims sitting at a table decorated with a “horn of plenty” filled with vegetables and fruit, eating turkey with one or more Indians.
As one matures into adulthood, there are many things other than the Pilgrims and Indians for which to be thankful. I decided to make my own list.
I am thankful that I was born to a good family that was financially poor during the “Depression” but we didn’t know it because others were worse off and we shared what we had with them. I am thankful for having been born in the Dark Corner of Greenville County, South Carolina, with a stubborn Southern Heritage and a rich history of independence and a willingness to sacrifice if necessary to remain free.
Penn State: Victim of New Morality

The academic and sports worlds are in turmoil over the firing of Penn State’s worshiped coach Joe Paterno and the university president. The dismissals followed the public release of a Grand Jury report that revealed a popular assistant coach had a history of forcing homosexual acts on young vulnerable boys in university facilities.
Former Defensive Coach Jerry Sandusky was arrested and is now free on bail, after being charged with multiple counts of “molesting eight boys over a period of 15 years.” The head coach and university president were, according to the Gov. of Pennsylvania who is a member of the university’s governing board, fired because they did not react promptly and properly to allegations of wrongdoing.
South Carolina’s Shadow Government

What Republicans see representing them in the South Carolina State Government is not what they get. What they see is a Republican dominated state government. What they see is an illusion and a deception. What they see is not what they get.
What they get is the same old Democrat, one-party rule that has held the state in a form of political bondage for more than a century – with a new label. It is the old wine in a new wineskin. The voters that have been deceived by liberal propaganda fail to see the truth behind the shadow government.
