PFC Adam Corey Ross Buried at Wood Memorial Gardens

Thursday afternoon the chartered plane carrying the body of PFC Adam Corey Ross from Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, landed at Greenville-Spartanburg Airport and then taxed toward the FedEx Terminal.
PFC Adam Ross, 19, was fatally wounded while on patrol in Wardak, Afghanistan on July 24th.
An Honor Guard of SC National Guard soldiers escorted the flag-draped coffin to the Wood Mortuary hearse. More than 200 members of the Patriot Guard and American Legion Riders on motorcycles with flags escorted the hearse to the Wood Mortuary in Greer.

“This election cycle is one of the most critical that we’ve faced,” said attorney Stephen Brown as he spoke during the Greenville County Republican Women’s luncheon on July 26th, 2012.
Brown informed of the legal battles that are currently going on in Columbia as the general election approaches. As a representative of petition candidate Ed Harris, Brown has first-hand experience of the actions being taken to keep candidates off of the ballot. After 20 years of experience in politics, Brown sees this as a very critical time, not only in our state history, but our national history. Being a part of the legal battle taking place, Brown doesn’t think that everything will be resolved by November 6th, 2012.

Ruby Lucille “Lucy” Beacham Howard, 94, formerly of 1254 Camp Creek Road, died July 28, 2012, at The Cottages at Brushy Creek in the loving care of her family and the staff in Lilac Cottage where she was a resident. She celebrated her 94th birthday on July 1 with a birthday party given in her honor and in the presence of many family members and friends.
A native of Greenville County, she was the widow of Melvin Gurley Howard, whom she married late in her life. She was the daughter of Rev. Hartwell and Lou Della Burgess Beacham and the last surviving member of her family She was a graduate of Mountain View High School and a former employee of Homelite. Mrs. Howard was a charter member of Praise Cathedral Church of God and was an active member up until recently when she was no longer able to attend. She loved her church and the many friends whom she cherished. She was a 40-year member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Hampton-Lee Chapter #1281 serving as president for twelve years.

Efforts Could Drastically Change Direction of State in November
Immediately following the unprecedented South Carolina Supreme Court decision that deleted more than 200 Republican and Democrat candidates from primary ballots, conservative patriot organizations across the state, led by RINO Hunt, launched a non-partisan petition signing effort labeled “Operation Lost Vote.” At least 150 candidates collected petition signatures and submitted them to the appropriate election commission for verification.
