Russia, Ukraine Orphans 'At Risk of Organized Crime Recruitment'
- By Slavic Gospel Association
Thousands of unwanted children in orphanages across former Soviet Union 'potential recruits' for organized crime
LOVES PARK, Ill., March 7, 2023 /Christian Newswire/ -- Thousands of abandoned and unwanted children in orphanages across Russia, Ukraine and the former Soviet countries are highly vulnerable to recruitment by organized crime groups, a U.S. mission agency says.
"When children turn 18 they age out of the orphanages and have to fend for themselves," said Michael Johnson, president of Slavic Gospel Association (SGA, www.sga.org). "Thousands end up with nowhere to go, living on the streets, caught up in prostitution, drugs and organized crime to survive. They're prime recruiting targets for criminal gangs."

Ukraine War Accelerates Orphan Crisis
- By Christian Newswire
LOVES PARK, Ill. -- The war in Ukraine is accelerating an orphan crisis in the embattled nation and neighboring Russia, a U.S. mission agency says.
Children are being swept up in the turmoil in Ukraine and taken to overcrowded orphanages miles away across borders, often separated from family members desperately searching for them, says Illinois-based Slavic Gospel Association (SGA, www.sga.org).
"The kids don't understand why this is happening to them," said Eric Mock, a missionary with SGA that supports local evangelical churches ministering in Ukraine, Russia and other nations of the former Soviet Union.
Secret Service Threatens Minister with Arrest for Peacefully Demonstrating on a Public Sidewalk in Front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C.
- By Christian Defense Coalition
WASHINGTON -- Rev. Patrick Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, was told yesterday by the Secret Service the sidewalk was not public because Chinese officials said it "was Chinese property."
The Secret Service went on to say Mahoney would be arrested and charged with unlawful assembly because he would be demonstrating on "Chinese property."
It was shocking and stunning to see America's Secret Service being bullied by the Chinese government to shut down free speech in the public square.

Shell-Shocked Ukrainians Turn to Churches as 'Winter of War' Presses in
- By Slavic Gospel Association (SGA)
As temperatures plunge, desperate families see church-based 'Heat and Hope' centers as their only hope
LOVES PARK, Ill. -- Hundreds of local churches across Ukraine are transforming their facilities into critical aid centers, providing safety, warmth and hope for thousands uprooted by war.
Up to 95% of those coming to the "Heat and Hope" centers at local churches are not practicing Christians, but see the church as the only hope, according to U.S. missionary Eric Mock.
According to Mock, vice-president at Illinois-based Slavic Gospel Association (SGA, www.sga.org), the gritty determination of local pastors across Ukraine -- many going door-to-door in freezing temperatures to check on their neighbors -- is making a big impression on Ukrainians normally apathetic about religious faith.
Napolitano and MacGregor on Ukraine War Casualties and Political and Military Stability.
- By Mike Scruggs
MacGregor's summary of open sources indicates the number of Ukrainian dead is 122,000 and another 35,000 (Ukrainian source) soldiers are missing. That would total 157,000 probable military dead and another 300,000 wounded. Most of Ukraine's original tanks and artillery have also been destroyed.
Russian losses by independent sources are 16,000 to 20,000 dead. This is the same as my combined estimate of Russian, Donbas militias, Chechens, PMC, and Cossack forces.
Ukraine is Collapsing Under the Weight of Russian Offensives
- By Press Release
Latest interview with Col. Douglas Macgregor on Ukraine War. Click the image above to play.
While American, NATO, and Ukrainian propaganda are still trying to spin a Ukrainian victory narrative, the facts on the ground are just the opposite. Ukrainian military dead may already be 150,000, and equipment losses of artillery, tanks, armored vehicles, and anti-aircraft missile batteries have been heavy as well. The Ukrainian economy is reeling from Russian Air and Rocket attacks on electrical infrastructure.
The danger is that the Biden Administration will escalate the war in a futile attempt to restore its credibility, resulting in high American, Polish, and Rumanian casualties, as well as more Ukrainian casualties. Also see just published book by Dr. Benjamin Abelow: How the West Brought War to Ukraine. Joe Biden has been up to his neck in this disaster since 2014.

Russia Approaches Remaining Roads in Bakhmut, Ukraine Offensive Fails in Kremennaya, Makeyevka 89
- By Mike Scruggs
This is an invaluable report and insight by Alexander Merkouris in the UK on the war in Ukraine and the Republican House Civil-War on the election of the Speaker of the House. The War in the House is closely related to conservative disenchantment with Republican leadership in the Senate.
Most of the first part is a very informative education on the military situation in Ukraine and the offensive and defensive artillery and rocket battles going there. It includes what I believe to be an accurate report on causes and casualties of a recent Ukrainian rocket strike on a Russian training barracks. However, he has significant insight on the Republican battle in the US House and Republican problems in the Senate. Americans desperately need to be well informed on these issues. You will not get the facts or truth in the MSM, and there is too little of it on Fox.
