Brig.-Gen. Amir Avivi emphasized that Israel is relying solely on itself to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding in Lebanon, stating, “Israel is not counting on anybody; Israel is counting on Israel.”
Speaking to ILTV, he explained that while efforts such as deploying the Lebanese army or dismantling Hezbollah positions would be welcomed, they are considered a bonus rather than a necessity.

(Worthy News) – An increasing number of mass graves are being discovered in Syria since the brutal rule of dictator Bashar al-Assad came to an end at the hands of the Islamic insurgent group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) on December 8, TRT reports. Last week, an international war crimes prosecutor said the mass grave sites in Syria show Assad had operated the “machinery of death” against anyone he considered an enemy.
While describing the scenes in Tadamon, a formerly vibrant suburb in southern Damascus, PBS reported: “After almost 14 years of war, it’s a desolate wasteland with more bodies buried underground than people still living above it. Human remains are scattered all around… An air of dread and sanctity hangs over these grounds, where countless souls perished in summary executions.”

The forces include Turkish commandos, artillery, and militia fighters, heavily concentrated near Kobani, a Kurdish-majority city on Syria’s northern border with Turkey.

BRUSSELS/BUDAPEST (Worthy News) – The head of NATO has told member states to prepare for war, describing the current security situation as “the worst in my lifetime.”
In his first major policy speech since taking charge of the military alliance, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte suggested in Brussels, Belgium, that citizens in Europe and North America should “shift to a wartime mindset.”
“Our deterrence is good – for now. But it’s tomorrow I’m worried about. We are not ready for what is coming our way in four to five years,” Rutte warned.
“Russia, China, but also North Korea and Iran, are hard at work to try to weaken North America and Europe. To chip away at our freedom. They want to reshape the global order. Not to create a fairer one, but to secure their own spheres of influence,” Rutte stressed.

Although U.S. officials claimed Russia had only “a few” of the newer missiles mentioned by Putin, it marked a significant escalation of an armed conflict in which hundreds of thousands of soldiers are believed to have been killed.

He added that the “United States and Great Britain are now directly taking part in a war against Russia. It means that all militaries of the US and Great Britain become legitimate goals for the Russian military.” Intelligence aviation jets and satellites could be attacked,” he explained.
