Contrary to the reasoning of Stephen Goss outlined in his letter printed some time back in an upstate newspaper, neither “illegal aliens” nor “legal aliens” should have a right to vote in any American elections; nor specifically, should “LEGAL aliens” be granted a right to vote in “local” municipal elections simply based on a “moral right and that right based solely on the fact they pay some “local” taxes!

Some whales and dolphins have been discovered to have a set rear flippers. They are labeled as atavisms, based on the presupposition that whales and dolphins are descended from land animals that had hind limbs. However, from a creationist and design perspective there are two other possibilities.
It needs to be noted that these flippers do not have any bones. The rear bones in both whales and dolphins serve reproductive purposes. They serve as anchor points for reproductive structures and are different in males and females. However, it needs to be pointed out that these are flippers, not lags. They cannot be considered evidence that whales and dolphins descended from four-legged land animals.

One thing Hollywood is very good at is scaring the bejesus out of Americans -- even when they're merely spreading false fears.
A famous movie in 1979 called "The China Syndrome" chronicled a nuclear power accident that could kill tens of thousands of Americans with radiation poisoning. The title came from a spooky fairy-tale scenario in which the nuclear material would melt the earth right through to its core and then all the way down to China. Despite causing few deaths, the Three Mile Island accident in Pennsylvania that year further panicked Americans about the safety of nuclear plants.

Dangerous Biden Missile Escalation Threatens Global Conflict
On Novembers 21, the Russians launched a new experimental hypersonic missile, called Oreshnik, into eastern Ukraine and hit an industrial military target near Dnipro. The Oreshnik missile was launched from a Russian missile base near Astrakhan in southern Russia. It traveled 772 miles and hit precisely on target, according to the Russians. The Oreshnik missile was armed with conventional warheads but can also carry nuclear weapons. Both the U.S. and Ukraine were given a 30-minute warning. According to Ukrainian intelligence, it was 15 minutes between launch and hitting its target. That would have given it an average speed from launch to impact of 3,087 miles per hour, or over four times the speed of sound (761 mph). The top speed of the missile is claimed to be Mach 10, or 7,610 mph or 1.5 miles per second. This is undetectable and unstoppable by any known anti-missile defense system. The missile impact was filmed by Russian intelligence and is available for view on YouTube.

Unfortunately, most Americans, especially our youth, have never heard of William Bradford and know virtually nothing TRUTHFUL about our Pilgrim Forefathers and Mothers. Today, the Pilgrim story is lost amidst the typical American celebration and hoopla of Thanksgiving—turkey, dressing, gravy, football, parades, and naps. Almost forgotten is the spiritual bravery, the courage, the sacrifices, the terror, the joys and sorrows that this brave little band experienced on their way to establishing not only a Christian colony in the frozen forests of Massachusetts, but ultimately the Country that most of us say we love—The United States of America.

Eagle Forum is calling on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to release a study — paid for by taxpayers — that is being blocked for political reasons. Last month, the New York Times reported that the study on the effects of puberty blockers on minors was being withheld because of “politics.”
“It is unconscionable that taxpayer-funded research is being hidden because the results do not conform to the political agenda of the authors. The Left is clearly terrified that the NIH study on puberty blockers will reveal the lies and coercion behind their belief that chemically altering children’s natural development is good for their mental health. BAKU/BUDAPEST (Worthy News) – Delegates of rich and poor countries concluded a trillion-dollar deal on what they view as “a climate crisis” on Sunday after marathon talks at a climate gathering in Baku, Azerbaijan. The negotiations were overshadowed by mounting tensions, with India among those opposing the accord.
After some 11 long days of often tense negotiations, the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference, known as COP29, concluded with a deal that campaigners said was a “betrayal” of the developing world.
Under the accord, the developing world should receive at least $1.3 trillion a year in funds to help it shift to a low-carbon economy. The money will also help it set up infrastructure to cope with the impacts of extreme weather by 2035.

The S.C. Supreme Court’s new chief justice has reversed the court system’s longstanding policy of keeping secret the salaries of higher-paid judges and department employees – years after The Nerve’s reporting on the issue.
The $200,000-plus salaries of state appellate, circuit and family court judges, as well as court staff making at least $50,000 annually, are now included in the state salary database, which is maintained by the S.C. Department of Administration. The move occurred after The Nerve in late July submitted a formal request under the state’s open-records law for the salaries.

I pull the following directly from the summary of the 2024 annual reports of the Social Security and Medicare Boards of Trustees:
"The Old-Age and Survivors Insurance (OASI) Trust Fund (that is, Social Security) will be able to pay 100 percent of total scheduled benefits until 2033, unchanged from last year's report. At that time, the fund's reserves will become depleted and continuing program income will be sufficient to pay 79 percent of scheduled benefits."
Our Social Security system is broke.
