Dale and Shirley Roberts, grandparents of The Time Examiner columnists Heather and Raquelle Sheen, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Dale is a native of Texas and Shirley hails from Oklahoma, but they were married in Lewiston, Idaho--the first wedding held in the very-new Orchards Baptist Church. In fact, the church 'building' was still simply a large tent.
With five children and their families scattered literally from coast-to-coast, a family celebration and reunion was held at a beautiful lodge in Mineola, Texas. This was the first time in years that the entire family had all been together. Everyone made it!
