The Greenville TEA Party is pleased to announce that we have been asked to host the Exclusive Premiere of the movie, “Bleeding Blue: Behind the Badge, Under the Gun” on Friday, September 7th at 6pm at the Hollywood 20 theater on Woodruff Rd. The movie is an honest look documentary which highlights the history of law enforcement in the US and how the lives of law enforcement officers and their families are affected throughout the US in today’s environment.
We are joined by 106.3 WORD Radio, Studio South/Global Studios, CaptiveInk Media, travelsmiles.org, Tucanos Brazilian Grill, Locally Epic and others in the promotion of this long awaited movie which counters the anti law enforcement narrative purported by many.
All proceeds from the event will go to support local law enforcement officers in the Upstate. There is a special urgent need, among others, to outfit deputies with new bulletproof vests. These vests denigrate over time due to daily wear and tear and must be replace every 5 years. The cost per vest is approximately $600/deputy.

The movie will be followed by dinner, drinks and music at Tucanos Brazilian Grill right next door to the movie theater (seperate ticket purchase). We will be honoring our local law enforcement officials. The price for the movie alone is $13 ($10 senior/child) and the dinner event is $30 for the meal and 2 adult beverage drinks. The evening promises to be an exciting time where we will honor the daily sacrifices of the men and women in blue of the Upstate. The Premiere will begin at 6pm at the Hollywood 20 Theater on Woodruff Rd. For those who cannot make the Exclusive Premiere, the movie will also be showing September 8-9th at 6:30pm at the Hollywood 20 theater.
