What is it about liberal leaders who edit our founding American documents?
Last week, Vice-President Kamala Harris omitted "life" when she quoted the Declaration of Independence. She said, "We collectively believe and know, America is a promise … It is a promise of freedom and liberty. Not just some, but for all. A promise we made in the Declaration of Independence, that we are each endowed with the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness." How can anyone have liberty or happiness if we do not first have a right to life? For Harris, the fundamental right to life in our Declaration of Independence does not fit with her demand for a right to kill inconvenient babies.

Anti-Christian Bigotry in U.S. and Europe
- By Bill Donohue, Catholic League President
Last July, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, who had just recently written the majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, upset militant secularists when he spoke honestly about the fate of religious liberty. In his Rome address, he talked about a "growing hostility to religion, or at least the traditional religious beliefs that are contrary to the new moral code that is ascendant in some sectors."
What Alito said is true in the U.S. and Europe.

Progressivism Versus Popular Sovereignty
- By Josh Hammer
On Thursday, Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall filed a letter, on behalf of 16 state attorneys general, to U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). The letter, which pertains to Biden administration policy on COVID-19, is both important on its own merits, insofar as what it urges the new Congress to do, and more broadly significant insofar as the spotlight it helpfully shines on the American ruling class's unsatiable desire to govern via perpetual crisis.
The letter, which cleverly cites President Joe Biden's own September 2022 admission that "the pandemic is over," decries the administration's continued reliance on "emergency" powers to implement various COVID-related policies -- especially those pertaining to the "emergency-use authorizations" that have enabled the government to develop, mass-produce and mass-distribute the COVID vaccines despite the fact they have still not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

Romans 13 Revisited: Are Americans Being Confused For “Lack Of Knowledge”? A Second Look For An Answer
- By W.H. Lamb
“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers; for there is no power but of God; and the powers that be, are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God; and they that resist, shall receive to themselves condemnation. For Magistrates are not to be feared for good works, but for evil. Wilt thou then be without fear of the power? Do well; so shalt thou have praise of the same. For he is the minister of God for thy wealth; but if thou do evil, fear, for he beareth the sword for nought; for he is the minister of God to take vengeance on him that doeth evil.” - Romans 13:1-4, 1599 Geneva Bible
I don’t present myself as a Biblical scholar. But I do study God’s Holy and truthful Word quite often for my own betterment, and particularly when preparing articles for this great digital newspaper, The Times Examiner. One of the parts of His Word that I have long been perplexed about is the first four verses of Romans 13. I find it confusing when trying to equate what my pastors over the years have told me that it meant, versus what I’ve been convinced it really means, based on the teaching of other pastors.

Planetary magnetic fields and Biblical creation Part 3
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
In the previous articles in this series, we saw how successful Dr. Russell Humphreys’ Dynamic Decay Theory has been at explaining and predicting the magnetic fields of various planets in the solar system. When combined with the model of the Genesis Flood known as Catastrophic Plate Tectonics the fluctuations described in dynamic decay are themselves explained as a result of accelerated tectonic motion going on within the earth at this time.
The reason for this is that the model shows that the accelerated circular currents in the mantle would be bringing down crustal material much lower than possible standard plate tectonics. The presence of this material has been confirmed by observation to the surprise of secular geologists.

March for Life 2023
- By Alveda King
This year marks the 50th year that people from around the world have gathered in solidarity to march for life in Washington, D.C. I have marched since the turn of this century almost every year. As we return to Washington, D.C., for the March for Life, let us remember that we are marching from victory to victory. We have overcome for life because Christ has overcome.
My uncle, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., once said that "the negro cannot win if he is willing to sacrifice the futures of his children for personal comfort and safety." All too many children are dying for so many reasons today. One of the foremost issues and reasons is death by abortion.

Should U.S. Support Ethnic Cleansing in Ukraine?
- By Mike Scruggs
There is Something Rotten under the NATO Narrative.
Despite the great majority of the mainstream Western media’s inattention to the origin and history of the Ukraine conflict going back to the Maidan Revolution and coup in 2014, there are some burning ethical issues regarding the conduct of the Ukrainian government and elements of the Ukrainian armed forces that the American people and their Congress should not ignore.
Ukraine is an ethnically divided nation. Only 60 percent of Ukrainians consider Ukrainian their native language. More than 17 percent consider Russian their native language, and 22 percent consider both Russian and Ukrainian their native language. The large Russian cultural minority is most concentrated in the southern and eastern oblasts (states) of Ukraine, where 60 to 90 percent of voters favor pro-Russian candidates and policies. There is also a small minority of 156,000 Hungarian-speakers concentrated in the Transcarpathian area of western Ukraine near the Hungarian border. Pro-Russian politics are relatively strong in Transcarpathia, about 42 percent, because of Ukrainian Security Services (SSU) attempts at cultural cleansing of language, education, religion, history, statues, and other Hungarian identity. Ukrainian cultural cleansing has also included suppression of Orthodox churches and believers wishing to maintain a connection with the Russian Orthodox Church’s Moscow Patriarchate.
