Justice for Laken Riley
Laken Riley was a 22-year-old nursing student when she was murdered while jogging on campus at the University of Georgia by José Antonio Ibarra, an illegal Venezuelan immigrant. Despite being apprehended while illegally entering the U.S., Ibarra was released into our nation. Ms. Riley’s murder wasn’t his first — or even his second — offense, though.
In three months, he was arrested for violence toward a minor, shoplifting, driving under the influence, driving without a license, and failure to appear in court. The murder occurred just two months after these various arrests.
Victory for Women and Girls as Court Erases Radical Title IX Rewrite

A federal court put the final nail in the coffin of the Biden Administration’s attempt to radically redefine “sex” on January 9, 2025, when it struck down the Title IX regulations proposed by the outgoing Department of Education.
“This is a clear victory for students, parents, teachers, and the First Amendment,” said Eagle Forum President Kris Ullman. “We are grateful that the Court recognized that by redefining ‘sex’ to include ‘gender identity,’ the Biden Administration had overstepped its authority and gutted the original meaning of the statute. Now all schools must return protections to women and girls in athletics and academics. Students and teachers will no longer face discrimination charges for the fake crime of ‘using the wrong pronouns.’ Our daughters can once again be guaranteed privacy in bathrooms and locker rooms. Parents no longer can be told that federal law prevents them from knowing if schools are secretly fostering their children’s ‘transition.’”
RESCIND South Carolina's Applications for a Federal Constitutional Convention (Con-Con)

Members of the South Carolina General Assembly are attempting to pass a resolution to rescind every live application to Congress calling for a convention to propose amendments, under Article V of the Constitution, otherwise known as a federal constitutional convention (Con-Con).
House Joint Resolution 3395 (H.3395) is sponsored by Representative Steven Long (R-Spartanburg) and three other representatives. If enacted, it would rescind every live, or extant, application by the General Assembly for an Article V constitutional convention. H.3395 declares:
McDonald’s Walks Away from Super-Sized Wokeness

The calendar may have changed, but 2025 is picking up right where last year left off in the battle against corporate wokeness. In the biggest shocker since Walmart, fast-food icon McDonald’s announced that after years of force-feeding DEI to shareholders and customers, political neutrality is back on the menu.
For activists, the news is even more astonishing since the Golden Arches had a perfect 100% score on LGBT activism from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) just last year. But, like so many boardrooms before it, McDonald’s decided to surrender before Robby Starbuck even declared war. In a letter made public Monday, the hamburger chain announced to their owner/operators, employees, and suppliers that this new year meant turning a new leaf on diversity. Although they declare their steadfast commitment to “inclusion,” Chairman and CEO Chris Kempczinski, along with McDonald’s top leaders, spent the final half of the letter explaining that they’ve identified practices that they intend to “modify,” including:

Greenville County Council has ushered in a new era of leadership with the election of Benton Blount as Chairman and Rick Bradley as Vice Chairman. Blount, representing District 19, was unanimously elected by his fellow council members. He has expressed a strong desire to unite the council and focus on reviewing the county's budget to find ways to save. Blount also aims to tackle planning and development issues, emphasizing the need to guide development in a way that aligns with the desires of the citizens rather than developers.
Israel Will Insure Hezbollah Will Not Rebuild in Lebanon

(Worthy News) – Israel is committed to preventing Hezbollah from rebuilding in Lebanon and has stated that the Israel Defense Forces will remain in place until Hezbollah is fully dismantled, according to Brig.-Gen. Amir Avivi, founder and chairman of HaBithonistim.
Brig.-Gen. Amir Avivi emphasized that Israel is relying solely on itself to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding in Lebanon, stating, “Israel is not counting on anybody; Israel is counting on Israel.”
Speaking to ILTV, he explained that while efforts such as deploying the Lebanese army or dismantling Hezbollah positions would be welcomed, they are considered a bonus rather than a necessity.
