The Greenville County Republican Women’s Club raised $2,039 at their annual auction held during their August luncheon at the Poinsett Club.

Debbie Spaugh, club president, thanked “everyone who worked so hard on preparing for the auction,” and “everyone who so generously donated items for the auction, bought items and made donations.” Participants-in-Silent-Auction

Kathy Snyder-Garrett, committee chairman in charge of planning the event, credited the auctioneer, Greenville County Councilman Joe Dill, for getting the best bids possible from the attendees. He kept the crowd laughing and in a bidding and buying mood.

The auction is the Greenville County Republican Women’s Club’s only annual fund raising event. Club members are given an opportunity to donate to a “Penny’s from Heaven” fund that is presented to a local charity selected by club members each Christmas.
