Strategy Seeks to Hasten Fall of Capitalism by Overloading Bureaucracy with Impossible Demands, Pushing Society into Crisis and Economic Collapse, Ushering in Socialism

Rush Limbaugh is one of the few public figures who has the courage to state emphatically that President Obama has no intention of fixing the economy.

“He’s at maximum damage potential right now. He can inflict the greatest damage possible for the purpose of transforming the country from capitalism to Western European socialism.” Limbaugh said on his radio program Monday afternoon, December 10, 2012.

The strategy being used by the Obama administration is thoroughly understood by the radical socialists running the country and the leadership of theDemocratic Party. Leading Republicans in the Congress are apparently clueless, or at least they appear to be.

President Obama’s current behavior regarding the nation’s financial and spending problems make no sense unless you understand the Cloward-Piven Strategy. The Times Examiner has been reporting on this strategy for at least five years, even before Barack Obama appeared on the national scene. A few talk show hosts including Limbaugh and  Bob Mclain on WORD Radio are very familiar with the strategy. Every American should be.

The strategy was developed and proposed by Columbia University Professors Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. The Cloward-Piven Strategy was inspired by the 1965 riots in Watts, a black district of Los Angeles and the Rules for Radicals, a book by radical community organizer Saul Alinsky.  It was first called the “crisis strategy.

“Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules,” Alinsky wrote. He explained that, when pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judaeo-Christian moral tenant, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system’s failure to “live up” to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist “rule book” with a socialist one.

The effectiveness of Cloward-Piven was tested in New York City beginning in the summer of 1967.

They recruited a black organizer named George Wiley to lead the movement. The organization was called the National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO). They followed the strategy prescribed, invading welfare offices, violently bullying social workers and loudly demanding every penny to which the law entitled them. They smashed doors and windows, threw rocks, overturned desks, scattered papers and ripped out telephones.  These methods proved effective beyond their wildest dreams.

The City Journal reported: “From 1965 to 1974, the number of single- parent households on welfare soared from 4.3 million to 10.8 million, despite mostly flush economic times. By the early 1970’s, one person was on the welfare rolls in New York City for every two working in the city’s private economy.” As a direct result of this massive welfare spending, New York City was forced to declare bankruptcy in 1975. The Cloward-Piven Strategy had proved its effectiveness.

New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani publicly exposed the strategy and named the leaders in a 1997 speech. Since that time, the strategy is no longer discussed in the media, however the veterans of George Wiley’s organization are reportedly actively engaged in intimidation of election officials and advocating laws and rules that make voter fraud easier, such as the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the Motor-Voter law, as well as the movement to block photo ID requirements.

The “Occupy Wall Street” mobs may have been a miniature dress rehearsal of things to come, should Limbaugh be right, Obama is at “maximum damage potential and mobs numbering hundreds of thousands are on standby fed and housed by taxpayers.

The economic system is fragile and could be pushed over the brink by a major crisis. President Obama is in control of the nation’s purse strings. Republicans are worried and Democrats appear unconcerned, as if they know something no one else knows. Short of divine intervention, the financial fate of the nation and freedom of future generations of Americans are in their hands.
