Citizens’ Rights to Zone Their Property Fails with a Deadlock at Greenville County Council
- By James Spurck, Publisher
“If you take away people’s ability to be able to zone themselves, it is nothing but communism.” – Councilman Joe Dill
All seemed smooth as Greenville County Council moved quickly through their agenda on Tuesday, February 15th until it came to a piece of property located off a two-lane State-maintained collector road, Griffin Mill Road which is owned by Dyrone Derek Moss.
On behalf of Moss, Alvin Thomas Johnson of Levi Grantham Land Group, LLC requested to rezone the 15 acres of land from R-S, Residential Suburban District, to R-15, a Single Family Residential District where they plan to develop approximately 30 units on this property.
This property is currently a part of the Plan Greenville County Comprehensive Plan. According to this plan, this property is designated as Mixed Employment Center, Floodplain, and Suburban Mixed Use. There are no schools within a mile, as well as no bus routes and no sidewalks in the area. This parcel is 0.67 miles southwest of the intersection of Interstate I-85 and Fork Shoals Road. It has approximately 560 feet of frontage along Griffin Mill Road.

Double-Speak, Lies, and Precedents Driving the Convention of States
- By Tom DeWeese - American Policy Center
The drive for an Article V Convention of States is assaulting state legislatures at an intense level. Obviously, proponents of such an action are counting on the discontent of Americans as the Biden cabal proves the misery of massive federal intrusion into every aspect of our lives. Americans naturally want to rein it in.
The problem is the Article V Convention of States strategy is a false hope being perpetrated by forces pretending to be conservative, promising a workable solution to balance the federal budget, stop out-of-control regulations, and give the government back to the people. In truth, the Article V Convention of States movement is one of the greatest flimflams ever perpetrated on the American people. It’s nearly the equivalent of combining the lies of the covid pandemic with election fraud and climate change. In short, the drive for the Article V Convention of States is just that dangerous because unaware state legislators are falling for it, and naive and trusting constituents are supporting them. The Republic is at stake.

State and Federal Efforts Highlight ERA Expiration
- By Eagle Forum
Proponents of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) may be trying to resurrect the dead legislation, but others are fighting back. After the Virginia legislature voted to ratify the ERA in 2020, feminists claimed they have the number of states needed to place the amendment into the Constitution. However, the deadline passed decades ago. Although House Democrats continue to hold hearings and pass resolutions to erase the 1979 deadline, lawmakers and officials, even in the Biden administration, confirm that the ERA has expired.
Virginia is not the most recent state making the news regarding the amendment. Last week, the West Virginia Senate voted to rescind their ratification of the ERA. Lawmakers cited concerns of abortion rights and upholding the integrity of the amendment process. If the legislation passes the House and is signed by the governor, West Virginia will be the sixth state to take this action.

Has Biden's Perfect Supreme Court Pick Already Been Aborted?
- By American Life League
WASHINGTON -- President Joe Biden has declared that his nomination to replace retiring United States Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer will be a Black woman. According to American Life League Executive Vice President Hugh Brown, Biden's best candidate was likely aborted 40-some years ago.
"More than 862,320 babies are aborted every year in the United States, and 38% percent of them are the children of Black women," explained Brown. "By the sheer mathematics, one quarter of the Black infants aborted after Roe v. Wade in the mid to late 1970s would have grown up to be today's women in their forties."
"In a society that is growing ever more sensitive to racial inequality, it is unbelievable that the spotlight is not shining brightly on the disproportionate numbers of abortions committed on Black women," added Brown. "A disparate 86 percent of Planned Parenthood's abortion facilities are located within walking distance of low income and minority communities. When you look at the facts, Planned Parenthood is clearly remaining true to the original eugenic intentions of its founder Margaret Sanger and her racist objectives of preventing Black births."

Congressional Candidate Lynz Piper-Loomis Addresses Her Primary Opponent's ANTI-2A Votes
- By Liberty & Justice Consulting Firm
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Congressional Candidate Lynz Piper-Loomis released the following statement:
"It is a sad day in SC-01 when we now have TWO anti-second amendment candidates running for the people's seat. One deceived our former President, one deceived our district. We CANNOT make this mistake again. Katie Arrington shamelessly voted AGAINST H 3700, which was our state's constitutional carry legislation. She failed to uphold our constitutional values. Nancy Mace, our Pelosi puppet member of Congress, voted for the NDAA, which has RED FLAG LAWS. I fully support 2A no restrictions. I fully support non-federalized reciprocity so people do not have to register their freedoms. I'm proud to be the only pro-second amendment candidate in this race. I will NEVER cower like my primary opponents on upholding and protecting our sacred constitutional rights. I will ALWAYS stand for our U.S. Constitution."
