INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVE VOICE OF
UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA

The Greenville Patriot Caucus 2The Senate Medical Affairs Committee is set to hear two bills regarding Medical Freedom this month. S965 is a bad bill and is being fast tracked over the better bill, S975. S965 is scheduled to be heard in Committee this Thursday March 7th, so please act to this CTA before Thursday morning.

S965 is a bad bill for the following reasons:

  • Allows private employers to fire unvaccinated employees and removes a lawyer’s chances of litigating on behalf of a person wrongfully discharged because of their vaccination status.
  • Provides meager unemployment benefits through federal COVID-19 relief tax dollars.
  • Establishes and funds weekly discriminatory COVID-19 testing based on vaccination status.
  • Does nothing to reduce "public health emergency" powers.

Bill S975 is a much better bill and is set to be heard by the same committee on Thursday, March 14th.

S975 is better for the following reasons:

  • Criminalizes employer discrimination based on vaccination status.
  • Prevents pharmacy denial of off-label use, life-saving medications like Ivermectin.
  • Reduces the "public health emergency" powers of public health authorities.

The 💥Call to Action💥 is this:

  1. Call all the Greenville County Senators on the Medical Affairs Committee (Verdin, Martin, Corbin & Loftis. Their names are also in bold in the list below), tell them that you're a Greenville County resident, and respectfully let them know you want them to vote NO on S965.
  2. Tell them that you want them to vote YES on S975 because it goes farther in protecting the Rights of the People.
  3. Ask them to support Senator Martin’s amendments that will strengthen S975.
  4. If you’re able, please call the rest of the Senators on the Medical Health Committee and tell them the same things you told the Greenville County senators. The more calls they get, the more they will realize the People are paying attention and do not want this bill. Since this bill will affect everyone in the state our calls are relevant.
