Obamacare is now the law of the land unless it can be repealed or declared unconstitutional. Our beloved republic has been systematically dismantled by subversives who now control the government. It is an unbelievable tragedy.
The people who voted for Barack Hussein Obama in November 2008 launched a Marxist revolution that will change our constitutional republic forever, beginning Sunday night, March 21, 2010. Some Americans with good intentions who thought it could not happen here and failed to become involved and chose to remain ignorant of political matters and facts regarding government operations allowed it to happen and share the blame and shame.
Some people voted for Obama because of race, others because of his leftist agenda. His personality and gift of gab persuaded others, who had no firm principles or knowledge of factual history upon which to base sound judgment.
The American Medical Association, AARP and insurance company executives made deals with the Obama administration and sold out their organizations and industry for promises of political favors. With the passage of Obamacare, the health insurance industry will become agents of the US government. Political appointee bureaucrats will tell insurance companies who they must insure, the limits to coverage they provide, and the premiums they may charge. Some companies will be favored and others will be forced out of business.
Americans will be forced to purchase government approved health insurance coverage. Thousands of new IRS agents will be hired to enforce the mandatory health insurance program. Insurance companies will be forced to insure everyone regardless of previous health problems and bureaucrats will determine the cost of coverage.
Healthcare for veterans and the elderly will be further rationed to create savings to cover a portion of the millions of new patients to be added to the system at taxpayer expense.
TRICARE for military retirees will be transferred out of the Department of Defense, breaking a commitment to veterans.
Businesses that hire employees under Obamacare must provide insurance coverage for their employees or pay a fine imposed by Obamacare and enforced by the Internal Revenue Service that is designated to be the investigative and enforcement arm for Obamacare. The IRS does not have to prove that you are guilty of an infraction, you must prove that you are innocent of their accusations.
The federal government is already borrowing 40 cents of every dollar it spends. Charles Krauthamer and others are already predicting that Obamacare will bankrupt the country. As pressure increases on bureaucrats to avoid bankruptcy, payments to doctors will be cut, forcing many physicians to leave the profession. The quality of medical care will decline as medication and medical procedures are rationed.
Rationing of procedures and medication along with a reduction in payments to physicians and medical facilities will be the only means available to the government bureaucrats to control costs.
Obamacare creates over one hundred new boards and commissions to regulate the lives of Americans. It will spend over $10 billion to hire 12,000 new IRS agents to enforce compliance. The bill contains 19 new tax increases. It cuts Medicare by half a trillion dollars and allows taxpayer dollars to pay for abortions despite the Presidential executive Order.
This winning vote by Democrats without a single Republican vote will encourage the Obama administration to go headstrong to pass legislation to give voting rights to illegal aliens so they can vote for Democrats in the 2010 election. They will also be pushing legislation on Cap and Trade and other Marxist takeovers of private industry before they have a chance of losing their majority in Congress in the November 2010 election. Regardless of the 2010 election outcome, Obama will be President until 2012 and the power of the presidency is awesome. Without moral and ethical constraints, use of presidential power can produce tyranny.
