One piece of evidence of Biblical Creation that has gotten better as the topic has been researched is planetary magnetic fields. Called “Dynamic Decay Theory,” this model started with the observed decay in the Earth's magnetic field, and it has led to a complete model planetary magnetic field. This model not only explains aspects of these magnetic fields that the uniformitarian dynamo theory cannot explain, but it also does a better job predicting planetary magnetic fields.
Doctor Russell Humphreys starts his planetary magnetic field model with Genesis chapter one and assumes that the earth and other bodies such as the sun, planets, and their moons all started as water. He has magnetic fields starting with an alignment of water molecules. It produces a magnetic field that then produces an electric current that maintains the magnetic field but decays over time. During the Genesis Flood, some fluctuations and reversals speed up the decay process for the Earth's magnetic field.
Before the Voyager 2 flybys “Dynamic Decay Theory” accurately predicted the magnetic fields of both Uranus and Neptune. “Dynamo theory,” the model designed to make these magnetic fields last billions of years, only got Neptune right. Furthermore “Dynamic Decay Theory” easily explains the orientation and off-centered nature of the magnetic fields of both these planets. This is actually contrary to Dynamo theory. “Dynamic Decay Theory” also predicted the measured decrease in mercury’s magnetic field between the mariner and messenger probes.
One of the main ways of testing a theory in science is when they make successful predictions about future observations, “Dynamic Decay Theory” does so even in cases where “Dynamo theory” has either missed the prediction or has trouble explaining the observation to begin with. So, with “Dynamic Decay Theory” starting with Biblical Creation and producing successfully tested predictions. This makes it scientific evidence in support of Biblical Creation.
