A Plea For Common Sense: Medical Malpractice Advocate Asks SC Senate to Reconsider Public Health Nomination
- Details
- By Palmetto State Watch

After her 8 year old daughter was misdiagnosed and paralyzed unnecessarily at the age of 8, Leila Dudley has been a lifelong advocate for those who are or have been subjected to medical malpractice. This is her letter to the SC Senate Medical Affairs Committee regarding Gov. McMaster’s recent nomination of Dr. Edward Simmer as the Director of the new Public Health Department:
Dear Chairman Verdin and Committee Members:
I appreciate so much the efforts you provide within the Medical Affairs Committee on behalf of the health of South Carolinians.
I am writing to let you know that I strongly oppose the nomination of Dr. Simmer to head the newly created Department of Public Health for the State of South Carolina.
One Health is Bad Health

The United States, Canada, and Mexico have launched a joint pandemic preparedness initiative that will unite the countries’ public health agencies around a “One Health” approach to addressing future pandemics.
This new initiative may empower the World Health Organization — the architect of the original One Health Initiative — to impose global control measures like vaccine passports and new policies targeting the “infodemic.”
“Because this is an initiative from the WHO, I am deeply concerned,” said Nicolas Hulscher, an epidemiologist and fellow at the McCullough Foundation. “They appear to be seeking domain over plants, animals, and humans — globalized, central control over public health policies in all participating countries.”

The single most thorough review of the pandemic conducted to date
WASHINGTON – Today, the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic concluded its two-year investigation into the COVID-19 pandemic and released a final report titled “After Action Review of the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Lessons Learned and a Path Forward.” The final report will serve as a road map for Congress, the Executive Branch, and the private sector to prepare for and respond to future pandemics. Since February 2023, the Select Subcommittee has sent more than 100 investigative letters, conducted more than 30 transcribed interviews and depositions, held 25 hearings and meetings, and reviewed more than one million pages of documents. Members and staff have exposed high-level corruption in America’s public health system, confirmed the most likely origin of the pandemic, held COVID-19 bad actors publicly accountable, fostered bipartisan consensus on consequential pandemic-era issues, and more. This 520-page final report details all findings of the Select Subcommittee’s investigation.
Eagle Forum Calls for NIH to Unblock Study on Puberty Blockers

Blocked Puberty-Blocker Study Must be Released
Eagle Forum is calling on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to release a study — paid for by taxpayers — that is being blocked for political reasons. Last month, the New York Times reported that the study on the effects of puberty blockers on minors was being withheld because of “politics.”
“It is unconscionable that taxpayer-funded research is being hidden because the results do not conform to the political agenda of the authors. The Left is clearly terrified that the NIH study on puberty blockers will reveal the lies and coercion behind their belief that chemically altering children’s natural development is good for their mental health. Our children have been experimented on for far too long, and it needs to stop. Dr. Olson-Kennedy’s attempts to hide the truth about puberty blockers is unethical and puts children and their families in extreme danger,” explained Eagle Forum President Kris Ullman.

Threats to our food security are now impossible to ignore. FLCCC Senior Fellow Dr. Brooke Miller sounds the alarm on the risks & offers ways to protect our food supply.

Hunger might not seem like an immediate concern in the West, but our access to food is more vulnerable than many of us realize. FLCCC Senior Fellow Dr. Brooke Miller, a cattle rancher and family doctor known for challenging the mainstream COVID-19 narrative, is now raising alarm bells about the serious threats facing our food system.
"We're facing challenges to our food security that most people aren't even aware of. The system is fragile, and we need to be vigilant about what’s happening to our food supply."
In this post, Dr. Miller sheds light on the various causes of food insecurity—a complex issue that, if left unaddressed, could jeopardize our health for generations. As we confront a declining life expectancy, driven in part by a flawed medical system and declining food quality, the stakes have never been higher.
The ABIM Must Be Investigated By Congress—Now

The American Board of Internal Medicine revoked doctors’ certifications for refusing to practice “consensus medicine” — to save their patients.
Before you read this essay, please read my previous Substack post on the unconscionable action by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) to strip two lifesaving physicians of their board certifications.
The cartoon above may seem lighthearted, but there’s really nothing amusing about it. The cartoon’s caption conveys the truth of just how completely the 4-year campaign of media censorship, deeply biased and contrived medical “studies”, and shockingly compromised medical associations, medical schools, government agencies, Big Pharma, tech companies, the media and others have placed patients in harm’s way.
If you’re a patient, you’re in the bullseye.
ABIM Unconscionably Revokes the Board Certification of Two Physicians Who Saved Millions of Lives

"The doctors stepped way out of line…” (Except they didn’t. They stepped UP.)
Stop me if you’ve heard this before.
COVID crashes on American shores in March of 2020. The World Health Organization (WHO) becomes apoplectic over the prospect that doctors, in their desperation to save lives, might resort to using steroids for out-of-control lung inflammation. So they sound the alarm (loudly) warning doctors not to do that—ever, ever, ever.
But wait. There’s a mutiny afoot.
A small group of renowned, highly respected critical care physicians from around the country convened at the same time—meeting to try to determine how best to save lives. Based on their deep scientific knowledge, medical acumen and clinical experience, they quickly determined what critically ill COVID patients needed to survive. Yep. Steroids.
