Immigration and the Reality of Islam
“Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.”
--Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America, 1835.
Most Americans place a high value on religious freedom. That religious freedom is guaranteed by the first 16 words of the First Amendment to the Constitutions”

Destroying America from Within

The Grand Jihadic Strategy of the Muslim Brotherhood
The Muslim Brotherhood is the most powerful Muslim political organization in the world. Its motto is:
“Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Koran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
The Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan in Arabic) was established in Egypt in 1928 by Hassan al-Banna, a devout Muslim school teacher, and six followers. Al-Banna, his followers, and many Muslims in Egypt believed that Islam had become shamefully secularized and marginalized during British Colonial Rule and that of the secular Muslim leaders that followed after Egypt’s independence in 1922. Moreover, British military and political influence continued.

Open Doors and Fifth Columns or Tough-minded Liberty?
Ms. Ilhan Omar has only been a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for two months, but she has caused quite a stir and represents a dilemma facing the United States. She recently told an audience in Washington that “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is OK to push for allegiance to a foreign country.” She did not say so directly, but her context was about the relationship between the United States and Israel. Tweets and other context soon revealed that Omar was anti-Israel and anti-Jewish.

A Brief Global Survey of Economic Good and Misery
“Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy.”—Winston Churchill
Churchill had rightly pointed out earlier in his pithy way that “The inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of misery.” It is not just totalitarian communism that doesn’t work. Whenever democracies turn their countries over to demagogues who promise prosperity based on redistribution of property, wealth, and earning power to appeal to the envy and covetousness of ignorant or misinformed voters, calamity and poverty inevitably follow.

The Left’s War on Confederate Symbols

The Road to Destroying American and Western Culture
On Thursday, February 14, in Dunn, North Carolina, vandals poured a flammable liquid on the marble statue of Major General William C. Lee, which was badly scorched by the heat and flames. The statue was near the entrance to the William C. Lee Airborne Museum in Dunn. William C. Lee was a World War II general and a founder of U.S. Army Airborne units. This vandalism follows two recent incidents of organized desecration and major damage to the statues of Confederate soldiers in North Carolina. These took place in Durham and on the UNC campus in Chapel Hill. Perhaps the vandals confused the World War II Airborne leader with Confederate General Robert E. Lee. It doesn’t really make a difference. All three instances are serious crimes that should be punished by more than a slap on the wrist. The leniency of Durham and UNC officials regarding the orchestrated destruction of the statues of Confederate soldiers under their jurisdiction is political and reprehensible and encourages more lawbreaking and disrespect for the heritage of millions of North Carolina families.
