U.S. Monitoring Turkey’s Military Buildup Along Syrian Border Targeting Kurds
- Details
- By Emmitt Barry - Worthy News Correspondent

(Worthy News) – Senior U.S. officials told the Wall Street Journal that Turkey and its allied militias are amassing military forces along the Syrian border, preparing for a possible large-scale operation against American-backed Syrian Kurdish forces in Northern Syria.
Officials report that the buildup, which began after the Assad regime’s collapse in early December, resembles Turkish military preparations prior to its 2019 invasion of northeast Syria. The forces include Turkish commandos, artillery, and militia fighters, heavily concentrated near Kobani, a Kurdish-majority city on Syria’s northern border with Turkey.
Pro-Life Laws Saved 13,000 Babies after Dobbs: CDC Report
- Details
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand

States officially recorded nearly 13,000 fewer abortions in the months after the Supreme Court returned citizens’ ability to protect unborn children, something that pro-life advocates say proves pro-life laws work. Yet the abortion industry carried out more than 600,000 abortions in 2022, including tens of thousands of abortions in the second or third trimester. While no mothers died from illegal abortions, five women died from “safe, legal” abortions in 2022. The data also showed nearly nine out of 10 abortions take place to mothers who become pregnant outside of wedlock. Overall, the U.S. government’s official tally shows a long-term reduction in the number, rate, and ratio of abortions over the last nine years.
Women and Children's Home Robbed in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- David Vincent, Warriors Center CEO, releases the following and is available for comment:
"A few weeks before Christmas, Warriors Center acquired an abandoned nursing home building in Memphis with a plan to start a 180-bed program for homeless women and children. What happened after we were given the keys was a tragedy.
“We unknowingly walked right into an active crime scene. There were burglary tools and saws all over the floor. There were piles of copper wire scattered around in piles everywhere. We saw bullets and shell casings all over the floor in the hall, which told us that the culprits had guns. Then we looked up as strange men with hoodies started walking out of rooms obviously high on Meth. I shouted at them that the police were on the way, and we exited our building immediately.

Like Notre Dame in Paris, Wisconsin Cathedral is Being Rebuilt After Historic Fire
- Details
- By Christian Newswire

MADISON, Wisc. -- As the world celebrates the re-opening of the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris five years after a fire, the Diocese of Madison, Wisc. is undertaking its own cathedral building project and plans to unveil its new cathedral 20 years after a fire destroyed its first mother-church.
In early 2024, St. Bernard Catholic Church, located just outside downtown Madison, was approved by the Holy See to be the Diocese of Madison’s new cathedral. The effort to transform the historic church into a cathedral is well under way with opening planned for 2025, 20 years after the diocese’s first cathedral, St. Raphael, burned down in an act of arson. Rather than build an entirely new cathedral church, Bishop Donald J. Hying said that renovating an existing church is “a better use of resources” and comes at a much more modest sum than brand-new construction.

- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand

The British government indefinitely banned puberty blockers as a treatment for minors with gender dysphoria on Wednesday. After embracing gender transition procedures for minors before the U.S., European countries like the U.K. are now reversing course as evidence of the harm they could cause has mounted. “We need to act with caution and care when it comes to this vulnerable group of young people, and follow the expert advice,” declared Health Secretary Wes Streeting.
