Magda Aguila suspects Operative Within GOP of instigating on-line Mischief

On November 1, 2013, Edwin Turnage, Attorney, Harris and Graves P.A. Filed a lawsuit against Twitter and Craig’s List, for Magda Aguila, a local business owner and active member of the Greenville County Republican Party. She is an outspoken advocate for the Republican Party platform and constitutionally conservative principles. She has been vocal in opposition to recent leadership changes and decisions in the County and State Republican Party.

The suit was prompted by what Aguila believes to be a “political operative within the Greenville County or South Carolina Republican Party” with the intent of damaging or destroying her reputation, according to a news release issued Monday, November 18, 2013. The purpose of the lawsuit is to “get information necessary to hold the people responsible accountable for their actions.”

Messages were allegedly sent to a large number of Republican Party leaders using a fake Twitter account called “probably Magda”.   The tweets, described as “often graphic and sometimes of a sexual nature,” allegedly damaged her business and professional reputation in the community.

Magda Aguila is a Cuban American and due to her experiences in Cuba has very strong views on freedom and the sacrifices required to remain free. She is outspoken and sometimes abrasive.  She has little patience with other Americans in responsible positions who value their personal greed for money and power over the survival of a free constitutional republic.

Any questions regarding the lawsuit should go to Edwin Turnage, Esq. at (864) 235-1741.
