Sen. Tim Scott launched his election campaign at Tommy’s Ham House in Greenville, Thursday. Rep. Trey Gowdy introduced Sen. Scott, calling him “the most decent person I have ever known in public office.” Sen. Scott said: “At the federal level, we see a government that is running inconsistent with the values of America. It is our responsibility to bring it back onboard with the American people starting here in the Upstate.”
