Living Dangerously
- Details
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Never has our country had more enemies and been in more danger, and never have the American People been more complacent. It may be accurate to say also that never before have we had more incompetent people in leadership positions at the national level. Finally, not since before World War II have we intentionally planned to disarm to dangerous levels. That all adds up to “living dangerously.”
We have all heard the cliché: “Ignorance is bliss.” Ignorance is also dangerous. I’m afraid more Americans are ignorant than in any period during my lifetime. That is one reason why they are complacent. You don’t worry about what you don’t know about.
For three years during the Johnson Administration, I was in an assignment involving command and control of nuclear weapons in the Pacific Command. There was no discussion of work outside the organization due to security measures. I recall a discussion with one of my colleagues when we agreed we would sleep better at night if we didn’t know some of the things we were allowed to access.
The “Civil War” Continues
- Details
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Students of the true history of the South know that the so-called “Civil War” has never really ended. The issues that divided the nation then persist today. Surrender of the Confederacy followed by the terror of military occupation and “Reconstruction” further strengthened the central government that is now virtually out-of-control and unrestrained by the states that have been bullied and bribed into doing the bidding of the power-hungry Washington-based slave masters.
A major battle in the current phase of the war is taking place in the Republican Party. The Conservative, Christian, Tea-Party base of the party that gave Republicans control of the U. S. House in 2010 is becoming more and more active. This internal threat to leadership is striking fear in the hearts of the “liberal Democrat-Light” GOP national leadership.
Flight 370 Conspiracy Theories
- Details
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Where is the missing Malaysian Airliner? It has now been a month since the disappearance of Flight 370 from Malaysia and speculation is rampant. The prevailing consensus in the dominant media is that the Boeing 777 is at the bottom of the Indian Ocean. Almost daily, someone spots wreckage or hears a “ping” that turns out to mean nothing whatsoever. At this writing, the Chinese claim to have heard a “ping” on the frequency of the so-called “black box” that will be running out of power in a matter of days.
One problem with the Indian Ocean scenario is that no rational explanation or motive has been offered for anyone to take the airliner in the opposite direction of its destination and ditch it in the ocean.
Common Core Truth
- Details
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
The controversial educational indoctrination initiative called “Common Core” could be described as “deception of Biblical proportions from the pits of hell.” That description, however, must be toned down to avoid scaring many people who need to be confronted with “truth” and deal with it, because it is truth that will set us free from deception.
The American people are not stupid; therefore, clever deception is necessary if they are to accept enslavement of their children and destruction of their constitutional republic. Using group psychology, clever advertising and the “carrot and stick” method of rewards and punishment on teachers and school administrators, they have hope of success, despite a parental rebellion.
For the purpose of this discussion, let’s suspend the arguments for and against Common Core for the time being, and deal with what we believe to be truth (facts).
