GREENVILLE, S.C. -- SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a leading business process services company, along with its Concentrix subsidiary and its fundraising initiative Share the Magic, today announced a $250,000 contribution toward construction of a world-class playground at Unity Park to be named the SYNNEX Share the Magic Playground.
Expected to be among the most popular areas of the park on the west side of Greenville, Share the Magic Playground will be a place where children of all ages from the surrounding neighborhoods and beyond can exercise, explore and interact with nature and each other while promoting physical, mental and social development.

Frederick LaRoque Scales, 70, son of the late Gilbert William Scales, Jr. and the late Susie LaRoque Scales passed away peacefully on Friday, August 3, 2018.
Born in New Bern, NC, Fred joined the Air Force after graduation from high school. He had one deployment in Vietnam as an aircraft maintenance specialist. Upon returning stateside, he served at Seymore Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, NC. The Tactical Air Command (TAC) squadron was later reassigned to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK. After his retirement from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant in 1998, he served as a social worker with the Department of Veteran's Affairs. Fred was very active in the American Legion, the 40/8, the VFW and the DAV. He loved sports and his beloved UNC basketball team.

Projects Will Provide Improved Electric Reliability
WASHINGTON – Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing $345.5 million in 20 infrastructure projects (PDF, 121 KB) to improve rural electric service in 14 states.
“Delivering reliable and affordable electricity to power rural America will help lay the groundwork for increased rural prosperity and economic opportunity,” Secretary Perdue said. “USDA is partnering with rural electric utilities and cooperatives so they can continue to invest in infrastructure improvements to provide electric power to those who live and work in rural areas.”

(1) Mr. HK, why has Southern Republican leaders not asked President Trump to refrain coming to the South touting Lincoln as America's greatest President? I won't vote for him again if he continues to do so. It is too much to bear!
