Their focus is a Star called the Blue Wall Centre and it’s view corridor from Blythe Shoals to Caesars Head. It’s good they are concerned. However, the environmentalist have become the developers.
Boat Owners Urged to Beware of E15 Fuel

EPA Approved 15 Percent Ethanol for Some Late Model Cars, Trucks, not Marine Engines
The Boat Owners Association of America (BoatUS) has warned members and other boat owners that the little label at the gas pump “could be all that separates boaters from dangerously misfueling their boat.”
With the EPAs recent decision to allow the sale of 15 percent ethanol for use in late model cars and trucks 2001 models and later, BoatUS says that trailerboaters will need to remain extra vigilant when filling up their truck and trailered boat at the local gas station.

Kimberly Kelly with WSPA TV’s Your Carolina was guest speaker for Wisdom in Living Life Ministry’s Fourth Annual I’ll be Home for Christmas Banquet. She discussed a personal story of the impact of addiction on family members. She has a family member who had apparently become a victim of substance addiction and is currently attending classes at the ministry training center.

Garden Gate Rabbit Park is home sweet home to many rare and fancy breeds of rabbits. The Glenn Hayward family raises several rabbit breeds ranging in size from small Netherland Dwarf, Jersey Wooly, and Mini Rex to medium size breeds of Dutch, Holland Lop and Satin as well as the larger breeds including Beveren, Silver Fox, English Lop, and Flemish Giants. A simple love of a few rabbits became a fascinating family business for the Haywards. Their “Rabbit Park” includes generations of over 130 pedigreed award winning rabbits that travel to ARBA shows and a variety of family events.
Bluegrass And Brunswick Stew at Dixie Republic

Scott Goldsmith and Dixie Republic hosted a get-together for friends of Tom Corbin and Joe Dill Saturday, October 23rd. Attendees were treated to Bluegrass music by the Mountain Creek Bluegrass Band, featuring Dennis and Polly Poole, Michael Elrod, Buzz Beilharz and Eddie Guthrie, not to mention a dancing spell by Country Hawkins of Little Texas. Guests were nourished on Dixie Republic Brunswick Stew made according to Scott’s secret Southern recipe.
Barton Historical Society Dedicates Marker to Ancestor

The Barton Historical Society held its 2010 Return to the Upcountry Reunion in Greenville, Oct. 1-3, headquartered at the Hyatt Regency. An all-day bus tour of the Dark Corner area, Poinsett’s and Campbell’s Covered Bridges, the Blythe-Goodwin-Hagood House, Tyger Church and its historic cemetery and numerous Barton-related home sites inaugurated the reunion on Friday, October 1st.
North Greenville Food Crisis Ministry Receives $3,000

The 43rd Annual Clyde Carr Charity Golf Tournament raised nearly $3,000 for the North Greenville Food Crisis Ministry on June 5 at the Rolling Green Golf Club. This year 60 players came out to enjoy the day of golf and fellowship. This tournament first began in 1967, under the direction of Mr. Clyde Carr.
