On Monday, March 17th, the usually ordinary activity of doll making was briefly set aside. The ladies chose St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate the 99th birthday of one of their most diligent workers, Dot Breazeale. She has been a member of Taylors First Baptist Church since 1959, and is active in the Global Missions Group. In early 2010, a meeting devoted to local mission activities featured a lady from Berea First Baptist Church with a sample cloth doll they sent to children in foreign countries to tell about Jesus. Tricia Phillips and several ladies, including Dot, went to Berea First Baptist, where they learned to make the dolls.

Attorney for Greenville County GOP Executive Committee Explained to Public Audience how Liberal Democrats are Selecting Nominees for the Republican Party in South Carolina
Very few people know that 22.30 percent of voters in the 2011 Greenville City Republican primary had voted for either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democrat Presidential Preference Primary. Some of those voting in the Republican primaries were elected Democrat office holders and Democrat Party officials.
Data collected from across the state proves that Liberal Democrats currently have a key role in selecting nominees for the Republican Party in the Palmetto State. That is why the Greenville County Republican Party and their attorneys have worked diligently for several years to right this serious unconstitutional injustice. It is the reason why conservative voters in increasing numbers are staying home on election day and threatening to form another party.

Common Core is “Just the next Federal attempt to herd states and our children into a one-size- fits-all standard.”
The February luncheon of the Greenville Republican Women had the future of education of South Carolina as the topic. The speakers consisted of State Superintendent of Education Mick Zais, and Superintendent candidates Charmeka Childs, and Sheri Few. With the bridge year of Common Core State Standards upon the state of SC and the full implementation year closely approaching, the topic was touched by every speaker.
Zais, a Republican who campaigned against Common Core four years ago, has a firm belief that all children cannot be taught through a one size fits all curriculum.

The True Story of Dr. John P. Weber by His Son Tom Weber

Several weeks ago, Tom Weber, a Subscriber to The Times Examiner from Utah sent me a copy of the book he had written and published about the life of his father. As a self-imposed rule, I only write and publish a book review after I have read the book. Sometimes that means a long wait.
Since I had made a commitment to Tom last year, and he had been so kind and patient, I committed myself to read the book this past weekend. I began reading after lunch on Sunday and although we had relatives visiting, I could not put it down for more than a few minutes at a time until I read the last page.
