COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Christians Engaged today announced a three-year strategic voter mobilization partnership with National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), one of the nation’s largest Hispanic Christian networks, representing more than 1,500 affiliated churches across the United States.

The partnership with NHCLC President Rev. Samuel Rodriguez aims to bridge language and cultural gaps while equipping Hispanic believers to pray, vote, and engage in their communities as Americans head into the 2026 primaries and general election.

Recent research from Pew Research Center indicates that Hispanics account for nearly 50% of the growth in eligible U.S. voters in recent years and are significantly younger than the broader electorate—yet voter turnout remains comparatively low.

“Together, we are building an outreach that will be unmatched,” said Bunni Pounds, founder and president of Christians Engaged. “We recognize the significant and growing number of Spanish-speaking Christians in the United States and globally. This is a strategic moment to disciple and equip Hispanic believers for faithful civic participation.”

Rev. Rodriguez added, “We are living in a defining moment for our nation. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to strengthening families, empowering churches, and renewing communities by equipping Hispanic Christians to step up and step forward with clarity and conviction.

“Our voices matter. Civic engagement is not separate from our faith; it is an extension of faithful stewardship and responsible citizenship,” he said.

Expanding Hispanic Outreach Nationwide

In February 2026, Christians Engaged expanded its Hispanic and Latino outreach initiatives, including:

  • Launch of a Spanish-language websiteCristianosinvolucrados.organd Get Out The Vote (GOTV) reminders
  • The Biblical Roadmap to the Party Platforms and school board election guides in Spanish
  • Strategic partnerships with Hispanic church networks to promote civic education and voter registration
  • And expanded recruitment of Spanish-speaking Christians in all 50 states into its national GOTV database

In December, Christians Engaged surpassed a major milestone: engaging more than one million Americans across all 50 states through its state-of-the-art voter mobilization system, which provides timely text and email reminders for state and national elections.

Year-round, Christians Engaged invites believers nationwide to take The Pledge—a commitment to pray for the nation, vote in every election, and engage in their communities—encouraging Christians to love their neighbors well through informed civic participation.
