This Year Trump Celebrates Holy Week Last Year Biden Celebrated Trans Visibility Day

If voters ever needed proof of the cultural and spiritual importance of what is at stake in a presidential election, they need look no further than this Easter. This year, President Donald Trump began the celebration of blessed Holy Week, the days leading up to the annual remembrance of Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead, by issuing a remarkably erudite and theologically precise presidential message on Palm Sunday. Just one year ago, President Joe Biden rang in Easter by urging Americans to celebrate the Transgender Day of Visibility.

Overbearing Judges Get a Wake-Up Call from Congress

Overbearing Judges Get a Wake Up Call from Congress

Americans didn’t vote for James Boasberg in last year’s presidential election, but that hasn’t stopped him from trying to commandeer Donald Trump’s job. Like almost 20 other district court judges, Boasberg became a household name when he decided to slam the door on the president’s deportation strategy, overruling the entire executive branch in a breathtaking display of judicial activism. After three months of this “judge-made law,” as John Fund calls it, Republicans have had enough.

Of course, the president is no stranger to abuse at the hands of the nation’s lower courts. “More than two-thirds of all universal injunctions issued over the past 25 years [have been] levied against the first Trump administration,” Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) points out. Instead of pausing a policy for the parties involved in the lawsuit, more benches are taking a sweeping approach, applying their judgments nationwide — and handcuffing the president from carrying out his agenda in the process.

If you’ve read any of my articles over many years here in this great journal of truth, you’ll know that I have a great affinity—a great and undying love---for “Classical Music” in all its many forms.  It is now, and always will be, my music of choice, always welcoming me in times when I want to relax, to unwind my thoughts, to escape from the problems and pressures and concerns that “mankind” has wrought upon this planet, to retreat from the joys and sorrows, the aches and pains, or from the mundane and ordinary events of modern American life—to—in essence—enter into a temporary “existence”—somewhere, somehow—with the minds of the musical “immortals” who will always live on the “Mount Olympus” of great music—music that has endured, and will continue to endure, for centuries, God willing.

“We are grateful to Speaker Johnson for his steadfast defense of the Constitution and to Representative Luna for her compromise resolution. The Bait and Switch Use of the Word Evolution

Details
By Charles Creager, Jr.
Published: 14 April 2025

There is a lot of science in the discussion of creation versus evolution; however, what is commonly misunderstood is how much the perspective on that science influences one's position. A primary example of this problem is the fact that evolutionists and even some creationists tend to think of creation in terms of fixity of species. This is the old idea that species never change and are always the same; it is, however, easy to show this idea to be in error, so it is often falsely presented as a creationist position. Meanwhile, the term evolution is often applied to both the observed fact that species do change over time as well as universal common descent, which is really the Darwinian view of evolution and the one that is under dispute, as a way of equating these radically different ideas.

Donald J. Trump came up from the floor of the Pennsylvania stage having been shot a changed man.  Yes, still a strong and commanding leader, an experienced and successful negotiator, a visionist as what will make America Great Again but also a changed man in his heart and spirit.  In a very near writing, I will share what I believe took place while he laid on that stage with blood dripping significantly down his right side to his shoes, which, by the way, were off and his feet received the blood from his ear and near fatal shooting.  But today as we come into a Holy Week recognizing Christ's betrayal, death and resurrection, President Trump's announcement released yesterday is my focus.

One Big Beautiful Bill Sputters Sending House Leaders Scrambling for a Solution

Update 4/10/25, 1:02 p.m. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) held a joint press conference Thursday morning announcing a potential deal over $1.5 trillion in cuts. The bill passed the House hours later by a 216-214 vote.

When House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) challenged Speaker Mike Johnson to a one-on-one debate over the budget plan, he meant it as a dare. But after weeks of arguing with his own party, a conversation with Democrats might be a pleasant change of pace for the Republican.

The Louisianan would certainly be practiced up after days of tense cross-talk over the framework to start delivering on the president’s agenda. For the GOP, there hasn’t been a break from those strained discussions, not even at Tuesday night’s National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) gala, where President Trump unleashed on his party’s holdouts for claiming the Senate bill doesn’t go far enough on things like spending cuts and deficit reduction. To the dozen or more conservatives who didn’t commit to backing the other chamber’s bill to unlock the reconciliation process, the president’s message was a biting one.

Planned Parenthoods Demise

Republican Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate have been working diligently on the process known as reconciliation that will allow a tax and spending bill to be passed with simple majorities. The next step in that process is for the House to agree to the Senate’s version of a budget resolution, despite different levels of spending cuts. Thankfully, both chambers and the White House have found areas of unity — the need to protect taxpayer money from waste, fraud, and unpopular spending. One such issue is the need to prevent our hard-earned money from being used to promote and perform abortions.

The overall amount includes more than $5.3 million in legal fees and costs paid by four state agencies – the offices of the attorney general, comptroller general, auditor and treasurer – to five outside law firms; and nearly $2.7 million paid to a consulting firm hired by the Department of Administration, according to records obtained recently by The Nerve under the S.C. Defeating the New-World Order, Part IV

Published: 11 April 2025

I published three days prior to the 2016 election that the Lord raised up Donald Trump much like Cyrus in the Old Testament who kept the people of Israel from going over a proverbial cliff to destruction.  Similar to Isreal of old, America was surviving by a thread in 2016, and under Obama with Hillary Clinton next, the New-World Order Elites and their acolytes were well on their way to collapsing America into the new global order, an order without national sovereignty but with a world leader.  God intervened.  America, who was created to be a light on the hill to all nations, was close to having her light extinguished.  We were given an opportunity, a period of grace to turn things around and expel the Marxist, God-less, dictatorial arrangement well under way in our nation.  National allegiance was out.

As I watch the turmoil unfolding resulting from the president's new trade and tariff policy, I wonder how, as a commentator, I can avoid writing about this.

But what do I say? What side do I take? Yes, per President Donald Trump, the tariffs are the hard medicine we need to swallow to counter many years of unfair policies of our trading partners.

Or no, free trade is and always has been the best policy, even when things are not perfect and some do not play by the best rules.

A simple first step in cutting taxes

Earmarks, pet projects, and pork are different terms which mean the same thing: tax dollars requested by elected official used to pay for politically motivated projects.

South Carolina’s earmark process is particularly egregious- there is very little transparency in the process to ensure your tax dollars are used in an efficient way reflective of the request for which they were distributed, and there is virtually zero accountability.

Each year, the General Assembly approves budgets chalk full of pork spending totaling hundreds of millions of dollars for horse races, wine festivals, podcasts, and Lego societies.

Big, Beautiful Tax Cuts Should Offset Any Tariff Increases

Details
By Stephen Moore
Published: 11 April 2025

President Donald Trump has predicted that his tariffs could raise as much as $6 trillion over the next decade in federal tax collections. These include up to 104% tariffs on China, plus the combination of reciprocal tariffs -- we charge them whatever they charge us. Also, don't forget the protectionist tariffs on steel, aluminum, autos, lumber, etc.

The tariff rates put on the table by Trump are higher than those at any other time in the last century, so it is no wonder we've seen a painful stock selloff, reducing asset values by well over $7 trillion.

But what the markets are missing is that Trump has also announced that money raised from the tariffs will be offset by other tax cuts. If that is the case, then the net impact of the tariffs could end up being a positive for the economy.
