Left-wing actors and street radicals are using education systems across the West to foment a far-left political revolution

6800 arrests in France should be a wake up call for Americas parents

France has been convulsed with riots, as a protest by teenagers over the condition of government schools quickly grew increasingly violent.

The out-of-control students have been joined in the streets by teachers’ union members, the Socialist Party, a hard-left labor federation and followers of left-wing politician Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

At least 215 teenagers, 85 school staff and 715 police officers and gendarmes have been injured, with police making more than 6,800 arrests.

Two dozen educational buildings have been burned or ransacked, and more than 500 schools have been disrupted.

If Americans think we are immune to this kind of violence, think again. Left-wing actors and street radicals are using education systems across the West to foment a far-left political revolution. The story unfolding in France should be a wake-up call to American parents.

Government schools are failing to teach the majority of American kids what they need to succeed in life. Many are realizing it and are not happy. But schools today are effectively teaching kids one thing — discontentment leading to protests.

“School walkouts across the nation have increased from 28 in 2023 to 402 so far in 2026, according to Defending Education. What’s more, America’s two largest teachers’ unions, the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers, are run by Marxist women who back every leftist cause under the sun.

The riots in France started over school troubles and have escalated in size and violence. Get your kids out of these ticking time bombs!
