Plenty of SC School Districts Don't Livestream Official Meetings
- Details
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve

Editor's note: This is the first story in a planned series of stories on livestreaming and other transparency issues affecting local or state government in South Carolina.
By RICK BRUNDRETT
Nearly 30% of South Carolina’s regular school districts don’t livestream official meetings, though nearly all of them have websites and at least one social media account, a review by The Nerve found.
Of the 72 school districts, 21 as of last week weren’t livestreaming school board meetings through their websites or popular social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. Most of the no-livestreaming districts are located in the Upstate, concentrated in Spartanburg and Anderson counties, The Nerve’s analysis found.
It's Now Down to THEM or US; There is No Middle Ground in this War of Cancel Culture

- By Kathleen Marquardt - American Policy Center

We are rapidly approaching a point of no return. It is now or never, and this battle has but two sides – any other choices are chimeras to draw one away from the combat zone. We are in a war over freedom versus slavery or death. No middle ground.
I think the Southern Poverty Law Center says it for THEM best:
To listen to such groups, Agenda 21 will lead to a “new Dark Ages of pain and misery yet unknown to mankind.” It is “a comprehensive plan of utopian environmentalism, social engineering, and global political control,” the “most dangerous threat to America’s sovereignty” yet. It will “make our nation a vassal” of the UN, result (sic) in “the destruction of our lives,” force rural areas’ “population [to be] decimated,” and lead to having “90% of the population murdered.” The end, these critics all agree, will be the imposition of “a collectivist world government.”

SAN JOSE, Calif., -- In an unprecedented show of faith and unity, Christians across the USA are coming together to pray for divine intervention in the upcoming election. This nationwide movement, which gained significant momentum this week, aims to seek God's mercy to give Christian leaders.
The initiative, led by Steven Andrew, who pastors the American Christian Denomination, calls on believers of all denominations to dedicate time each day to agree in covenant that the Lord is the God of the USA and to cry out to God for Christian leaders. The movement emphasizes the importance of seeking God's will to have Christian leaders.
"Now is the time for the church to arise; We expect God's help," Andrew said. "We can make a significant impact for God in the future of our country."

General Election - November 5, 2024

PLEASE NOTE—IMPORTANT DETAIL: do not take this flier to the polls. By law, you may take only a list of names and offices to the polling site.
- For candidates already in an office, I have been able to check voting records. My comments reflect their voting records over the course of their tenure.
- For those who have never run for office before and who claim a position, I will state their claim, but understand I have nothing by which to verify that claim.
- Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A photo ID is required to vote in South Carolina.
This is the most consequential election in our country in a very long time; it will decide whether or not we will live in a democratic republic or something entirely different. The democrat party has made it clear that they intend to radically change the country, so they do not have to worry about criticism or opponents from any other party. They have made it abundantly clear they intend to change laws regarding free speech, religious freedoms in the public square, parental rights vs Trans rights, and the Second Amendment. In Many areas, they intend on passing laws at the federal level to have a one-size-fits-all all rule for the entire country, and if they can get the keys to all three branches, they will even try and change the Supreme Court to make all their changes “legal”.
Harris Rejects Religious Exemptions in Abortion Debate
- Details
- By S.A. McCarthy - The Washington Stand

Democratic candidates have been running on abortion for years, and both President Joe Biden and now Vice President Kamala Harris have pledged to resurrect a more extreme version of Roe v. Wade if Democrats win the White House in November. But Harris is promising more than just unrestricted abortion on demand: she’s promising to make American Christians carry out and pay for abortions.
In an NBC News interview on Tuesday, Harris was asked if she would consider “making concessions” on abortion if she were to win the White House in order to garner support from pro-abortion Republicans like Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine). “What concessions would be on the table? Religious exemptions, for example; is that something that you would consider if the Republicans control Congress?” NBC’s Senior Washington Correspondent Hallie Jackson asked. Harris replied, “I don’t think we should be making concessions when we’re talking about a fundamental freedom to make decisions about your own body.”
